H10 Cambrils Playa

Really nice hotel, safe for families and parents travelling alone with kids. I travelled alone with my nine year old. Was very impressed with hotel. Small enough to feel safe with kids but just big enough for decent holiday vibe. Reception staff are very efficient and helpful. We hired bikes from reception (pay cash) and it only cost €24 for a day for 2 bikes. We cycled to Salou and Cambrils. Food was lovely. We always found something to eat and the drinks are reasonably priced. The pool area is very clean and yes there are restrictions on pool toys/accessories but the beach is a short walk away if you fancy that. The animation team were AMAZING!! They instantly put me at ease as they were so welcoming and I knew my daughter was safe with them, even when they went to the park/tennis courts, which are across the road. I did take a wander over to see how they were getting on. She loved it - this was great for me as I felt supported by them. Ali and Oscar were fabulous. Yes the family entertainment section is short but we also enjoyed the main entertainment after Daisy Club departed. And yes that meant later nights but we are on holiday - sleep in!!! We took a day trip to Barcelona organised by Jet2 travel rep. Great day out but be sure and ask when the cruise ships are in the port as these days are much busier. Also buy your tickets to Parc Guell online a few days before as they sell out!!! The hotel is in a nice area, between Salou and Cambrils. Bus stop right outside. Get T10 card from bus plana shop outside hotel.

Nice value hotel. Very clean and impressive pool area. Artificial grass round pool was very attractive and non slip. Breakfast was delicious - choice of everything you could want. Staff all very friendly. Reception could do with more staff at peak times. Rooms immaculate and lovely pool view. Only criticism is the sunbed situation. People reserve them about 7am and then go out for a few hours. By 10am most days none available. Life guard puts warning notes on beds but never removed the towels. Better system needed. Location to cambrils is not very close. Description bit mis leading.

This is a fab hotel. We stayed on dinner bed and breakfast with easyJet. Hotel staff were all very helpful. Food quality was good. The hotel location was excellent. The rooms have been refurbished to an excellent standard All in all great place to stay

Great holiday at Cambrils Playa. Stayed for two weeks through Tui and never got bored with the food. Great choices at breakfast and dinner. Staff worked really hard and were very helpful. Rooms very comfortable and spacious with walk-in shower. Toiletries provided too which is a great saving.

Hotel is immaculate. We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived. Room was spacious (we had first floor room with 2 single beds and 1 double bed with a bigger balcony overlooking tennis courts) room was also cleaned daily and towels changed. The whole hotel feels very clean! Safe is also free and WiFi is good all around the hotel. Staff are very polite and attentive at the bar and round the buffet. Food was good for the most part but there’s plenty places to eat within a 20 min walk either way up or down the coast. One gripe is people reserving sunbeds then not turning up (although the lifeguard started taking peoples towels away at 11am if no one arrived) Hotel is a stones throw away from two supermarkets, a gift shop and a pharmacy so you can stock up on essentials. Beach is a 5 min walk down the road and bus stops are right outside to go to Salou or Cambrils. Towels can be rented (€10 deposit that you get back) One thing to note is that the hotel bar, pool bar and restaurant are all cashless. You can either pay on card or you get a wrist band which can be pre loaded or paid upon check out (or if you reach the €300 limit) Entertainment staff were great with kids (and adults) and there was plenty to do throughout the day. Nighttime entertainment was also great although currently inside so get in early to get a seat. Our first time to Cambrils/Salou and I would return to this hotel!

Our third visit to this hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff at this hotel are welcoming and helpful throughout., from reception , restaurant to housekeeping all a creit to H10. Hotel is spotlessly clean & fresh ,as are the rooms ...well done housekeeping !. Food is good ,lots of variety so something for everyones taste. Rooms have comfy beds , good bathroom with great shower. Location is great , beautiful beach just across the road , and flat walkway as far as the eye can see. Would recommend and will be back !.

This was our third visit to the hotel and still think it’s a good hotel to visit. If you book directly it’s very good value and offers a relaxing stay in a great location. We hired bikes for the first time and loved that so would definitely recommend doing that! Óscar in the animation team also deserves a shout out - he was brilliant! We had a junior suite but were slightly disappointed that it didn’t have two bathrooms and two balconies like the junior suite we had last year. Should these not be different classes of rooms with differing prices? We also weren’t informed that it had a conjoining door with the next room along and could hear everything that was said by people in the next room. This meant we felt like we couldn’t use the second room that we paid for properly, and again another reason for there to be a different price point - the suite we had last year had no conjoining room. Afraid I have to echo comments on the food from some of the other recent reviews. It seemed very repetitive compared to previous visits, with veal and hake both on the menu an awful lot. Also had a problem with some desserts still being frozen and would have been nicer to have more variety and fresh options for the main desserts. On our last day it was also disappointing that a number of items ran out a good 45 mins before the end of the service. Overall we definitely still enjoyed our stay but unfortunately it wasn’t as good as previous visits - I don’t think we will be back for a good while now and hope our feedback is taken on board in the meantime
