Beautiful historic inn! The staff is AMAZING! We felt so welcomed. Definitely opt for the breakfast - the popovers and blueberry muffins were to die for. Very rustic setting.
The only con is that the rooms are a bit dated, so if you’re looking for a more modern experience, this won’t be your vibe. If you want a quirky, eclectic, cozy coastal Maine experience at a great price, you’ve found the right hotel!

We stayed at The High Tide Inn August 24-26.
We were impressed as we stepped into the hotel and the room
The attention was amazing, the room beautiful, as well as the common area of the hotel, the view, and those home made buns and muffins. Highly recommend!!

Mark and Angela were great hosts. They were knowledgeable and helpful with info about the area. The inn is close enough to the town center but far enough away to make it welcomed retreat from the crowds. We stayed in the main building. Even though that meant sharing the space with other guests it was always quiet in the evening. Our room was cozy and the windows allowed for plenty of fresh air sunlight. We especially enjoyed the beauty and solitude of their private beach. We hope to return in the coming year.
