Popular Campo Charro 4-star Hotels

Good hotel, poor restaurant and impolite staff. The room looks nice and clean. We reserved a double bed for an extra price as a room with two single beds was 10 euro cheaper. At the reception, they told us that a double bed is only 1.50m width.... so we choose then go for 2 single beds, but they would not reduce the 10 euro from the price as we had booked already via credit card. The restaurant has a daily menu that we needed to scan via a QR code. We ordered from the daily menu. I ordered the first main dish on the menu card and I got the wrong dish. I ordered fish and I got pork. When telling this to the waiter, his answer was “this is the way we serve it in Spain, maybe it is different in your country “ . He showed us the menu and seems that the menu he had was different then from the hotel webpage that we scanned via the QR code he gave us. After a long discussion they realize their mistake and gave me my fish. My wife got a main dish which was so salty that she could not eat it. I tasted it and it was disgusting. When saying this to the waiter. He did not react. So very poor service and very unprofessional staff. So if you want only to sleep, then the rooms are great for the price. If you also want to use the restaurant then it is better to find another hotel in the neighborhood of Salamanca.

hemos estado un pequeño grupo este fin de semana y la verdad q lo mejor del hotel son los trabajadores. el recepcionista encantador y el personal del comedor igual, muy amables y profesionales. el hotel desde mi punto de vista necesita una reforma. se ve por sus instalaciones q en su día fue un buen hotel. buena calidad precio para grupos
