Sutherland House Victorian Bed and Breakfast

The house is beautiful and in a great locaiton. Its close to the main road of the town but still far enough away from the hussle and bussle. My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon suite which was cozy, clean and had everything we needed and wanted! Breakfast each day was delicious and filling!!

We had a wonderful experience here. The rooms are beautiful and everything is immaculately well kept. The breakfast was delicious especially the baked pear with crushed pistachios and goat cheese. We will definitely come back! We were celebrating my husband’s birthday so it was a perfect trip.

My husband and I loved the beautiful Victorian home. Very affordable! We stayed in the Henry’s Haven room. Everything was clean and cozy! We prefer a softer bed as it was a little hard but that is personal preference! We loved all of the beautiful decor which made the atmosphere perfect!

We had a wonderful weekend at Sutherland B&B. Our sparkling clean room was charming with every possible detail well thought out down to the 'if you forgot something box.' We especially enjoyed chatting with the other couples celebrating their anniversaries and upcoming marriage. Nate's breakfasts were the highlight of our visit. Everything was delicious!! Thank you for the hospitality and hope to return to your beautiful B&B in the future.

As a regular guest for many years, we knew exactly what to expect, and we were NOT disappointed! Sutherland House Victorian B&B is so much, much more than just a place to stay on the road while visiting upstate NY. We truly get the feeling of a kind of time travel back to the 1800's, with the comforts of our own time. Consistently very high quality of everything, especially the luxurious three course breakfast served at the long table decorated with seasonal flowers with lovely warmth from the large gas fireplace in the dining room! Favorite accommodation #1 and of course at the top of our list for any vacation trip to the northeastern part of the United States!! Once again, thank you so much for an unforgettable stay!! And thank you Nate, for the countless three course gourmet breakfasts every morning, never the same dishes two days in a row!!!

My mom and I had a great stay and really appreciated everything the hosts offer guests. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was nice that there were snacks, beverages, travel size hygiene items, games and menus to local restaurants. There was a very nice outdoor area too. Definitely will stay again when in the area. We've been telling everyone about our great stay. We went to Watkins Glen which was a beautiful hike alongside many waterfalls that we highly recommend.

We stopped on our way home from Thanksgiving as we love exploring the finger lakes whenever we can. This beautiful victorian bed and breakfast is a can’t miss! We spent lovely evenings next to the fireplace as we watched the snow fall outside. We had a wonderful three course breakfast and had wonderful conversation with the other guests. It brings you back to a better time when conversation was the norm, evenings were spent reading, enjoying a fire, or doing a puzzle. The bed and breakfast provides 24/7 goodies like coffee, hot chocolate, soda and snacks! It’s rare to find this in accommodations these days. The room itself was beautiful and we even had another gas fireplace in our room! Lovely stay, highly recommend.
