Royalton CHIC Cancun, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort - Adults Only

Terrible check-in experience! I arrived around 2:20 PM, waited, and did a pre-check-in. I was told to wait until 3:00 PM to get my room number. Okay, no problem. But at 3:00 PM, I was left standing there for way too long because the system still hadn’t assigned me a room. I have never seen anything like this before. Staff behavior & neutrality: Being very tall (2 meters/6'7") and of African descent, I was constantly stared at and watched like a hawk by the servers at the public buffet restaurant. Fortunately, I am very confident and comfortable in my own skin, but otherwise, some people would definitely feel discriminated against or feel like their presence was bothering the staff. Personally, I just didn't care. I also received several comments about my height. Again, I take it as people paying attention to me, but it would be much better if the staff remained 100% neutral. Not everyone appreciates comments about their appearance, even when they are meant to be positive. The Buffet Timing: On my very first day at 3:45 PM, I wanted to go to the buffet, but I was told it was already closed. Closing 15 minutes ahead of schedule? Not cool. The Positives: Staff: Aside from the staring, the staff is actually very kind, helpful, polite, and attentive. Food: The food selection is very rich. I tested the Mexican and Asian restaurants, and both were delicious. The Room: My room offered an exceptional view of the Caribbean Sea. It was very well-equipped with everything you need, including a fully stocked fridge (drinks and water), a hair dryer, pajamas, hand/shower gel, etc. Conclusion: An excellent stay overall. It is a complete resort, but they really need to fix the check-in process and train the staff to be more mindful of guest privacy and neutrality.

I enjoyed the steak house , the lightning quick response from front desk with two separate minor room issues. What I didn’t enjoy was the pay more fore prime seats around the pool pay more if you want to drink on the roof top the prices of the massage is ridiculous the on site souvenir store prices are also outrageous $12 dollars usd for a bottle of water I feel they are missing an opportunity all around if the prices where a little more acceptable they would make volume sales instead of one or two here and there …… and before you call me cheap I make well into the 6 figures and know value over ego purchases if you like to get fall down drunk and load on holiday this resort will be a solid choice.

Perfectly located on the Cancun Hotel Zone *****, this resort strikes a great balance — close enough to the action if you want it, yet far enough away to truly unwind. The property itself is charming, not overly large, which makes everything easily accessible. The pools are just the right size for activities and socializing, but the real highlight is the stunning beach — that’s where I spent most of my time. Dining options are plentiful with several restaurants to choose from (reservations are required), and the bars offer a wide variety of drinks. The café is also a must-visit. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. This isn’t a massive, party-centric resort — it’s better suited for travelers looking to relax and enjoy the beach in a more laid-back atmosphere. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be refreshing the rooms and hallways, as they’re starting to show their age.

Amazing Place for a Holiday, Great service and staff!!

Service was very very bad, the food was ok. Water tasted weird, not the best service & some rooms had issues too.

One of my fav spots during my time in Cancun and I stayed at 5 different places. Super fun vibes highly recommended and the rooms were magical the view unreal and the restaurants and shows perfect atmosphere.

The deposit is $200, and the $199.99 will be refunded on February 22, and the consumption is $0.01, and the tax paid in cash at the front desk is not deducted, and the smell of food is piled up outside the door every day
