First, the pros: The hotel's beach is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast spread is generous with local specialties. There's also a travel agency at the front desk offering excellent booking and taxi services. Right outside, there's a big bus that makes getting to the Maya Museum very convenient. Now for the cons: 1. Opaque pricing. On Trip.com, there was only one price listed for a standard room. Upon arrival, we were given a room facing the road with no sea view, which was very noisy. When I asked at the front desk, they said we could switch rooms the next day, but a sea view room would cost extra. We decided to switch. This meant the great value for money I thought I was getting when I originally booked was gone. It felt a bit like a low-price lure. 2. The rooms are really quite old.

The hotel's location is great, with easy access to the beach. The facilities are basic, but it offers good value for money and the staff are quite friendly. If I go to Cancun again, I'd love to stay for a week.

Choosing this hotel will ruin your Cancun trip; it's truly an awful, bait-and-switch operation. First: The hotel photos and room were completely different from reality. The front desk even brazenly admitted that the images were just 'display pictures' and not of actual rooms. Unbelievable. Second: The service was terrible. I asked the front desk to look after my washed clothes, and they ended up rolling the still-wet clothes into a bag. I was speechless. This directly led to us having no clean clothes to wear the next day. Third: This hotel uses low prices to attract guests on platforms, with misleading photos and descriptions. Once you arrive, they try to upsell you. We booked an ocean-view room, but they gave us a side room and then demanded an additional $60 for an upgrade upon arrival. Finally, I think Trip.com also has issues. How can such a terrible hotel have a 4.6 rating? This is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, no competition.

The room was comfortable and had a balcony. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and check-in was efficient. All the service staff were friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The hotel's location is great, and it has a private, unbeatable beach.

Excellent hotel experience! The room was clean and well-equipped, and the view was fantastic. The service was warm and attentive, and the restaurants on the beach were great. It offers really good value for money and is definitely recommended!

Everything was clean, but the rooms are old – definitely not Instagram-worthy. However, the location is great, and for the price, it's a decent place.
