Bel hôtel. Balcon qui surplombe le lac. Vue magnifique. Chambre impeccable. Un snack et 4 ou 5 restaurants à proximité directe. Le personnel est sympathique et agréable. Un parking privé à 20€ jour, top car les places sont rares. Un vrai hôtel ! Merci

Wir verbrachten drei Nächte im Hotel Cannero. Es handelt sich um ein wunderschön direkt am Ufer des Lago Maggiore gelegenes Haus. Die kleine Ortschaft Cannero mit ihrer Seepromenade und den alten Häusern und engen, steilen Gässchen wirkt sehr idyllisch. Das Hotel Cannero versetzt den Gast auf angenehme Weise in die Belle Epoque zurück. Geschmackvoll-gediegen renoviert unter Wahrung der alten Bausubstanz und ein wenig altmodisch dekoriert, fühlt man sich hier gleich sehr wohl. Unser Superior-Zimmer war zum See hin gelegen und verfügte über einen kleinen Balkon, der gerade für zwei Stühle und ein Tischchen ausreichte und zum entspannten Sitzen in der Frühlingssonne einlud. Der Schlafraum ausreichend groß und stilistisch passend mit „antiken“ (jedoch nicht sonderlich hochwertig wirkenden) Möbelstücken eingerichtet. Als ausgesprochen unpassend für das ansonsten hohe Niveau dieses Hotels empfanden wir allerdings die Zudecken: Stark abgenutzte braune Wolldecken statt kuscheliger Oberbetten ließen eher Jugendherbergsfeeling aufkommen. Recht großes Bad mit viel Marmor, jedoch unzeitgemäß enger Duschkabine. Alles sauber und gut gepflegt. Das für italienische Verhältnisse wirklich exzellente Frühstücksbuffet wird im stilvollen Speiseraum im Erdgeschoss mit schönem Blick auf den Lago angeboten. Dort aßen wir auch zweimal zu Abend und waren von der hohen Qualität der Speisen sehr angetan. Ausnahmslos sehr freundliches, gut geschultes und aktiv auf die Gäste zugehendes Personal, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch im Restaurant. Man spricht deutsch, was angesichts der zahlreichen Gäste aus dem Norden auch nicht verwundert.

Superb - we like everything! Location, location and location :-) Quiet village right on a lake, delicious food for breakfast and dinner, free parking, spacious rooms, excellent friendly staff, will be glad to visit to this hotel again. Strongly recommended

Sehr schön und ruhig gelegen (direkt bei der Schiffstation und an der Fussgängerpromenade), sehr freundliches Personal, gutes und reichhaltiges Morgenessen bis 10Uhr. Eigene gedeckte Parkplätze (gebührenpflichtig). Von uns sehr empfehlenswert.

Beautiful location, junior suite was spacious and balcony view had panoramic view of the lake. Easy access to the ferry and local restaurants. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was a great spread. Lots to do around the lake, would recommend in an instant.

Very much enjoyed our 3 night stay. Excellent location and wonderful views from our "superior" lakeview rooms. Only a few very small criticisms stop it being 5 stars all round.
1) Only 1 mirror, a large one with not terribly good lighting, in the bathroom.
2) we found the bed rather hard.
3) It would have been nice to have a kettle and tea making facility in the room
4) and a couple more standard electric power points.
5) The shower has an emergency call cord in case of slipping etc. which is excellent. However it was tied up so high that anyone who slipped in the shower and actually would have been unable to reach it!!
Decor and conditoin of the buildings was beautiful, and otherwise a really good place to stay.

This is a beautiful hotel with a lovely, old-world atmosphere, but updated in every way that is important. The location is perfect, directly on the lakeshore along the promenade. The staff is friendly and helpful. We booked a room with a lake view and enjoyed an aperitivo on the balcony every evening - it's difficult to imagine anything more pleasant!
