Pros: The room is clean and cleaned up in a timely manner. The breakfast is good, and the steak in the restaurant on the first floor can be slightly expensive.
Cons: No elevator.
However, there are few old hotels in the UK with elevators.

The staff were lovely, especially the restaurant staff in the morning for breakfast. There was a lovely lady serving breakfast who remembered what we had each morning and made sure we had everything we needed.
The room was clean but could do with a bit of an update.

Excellent staff service, we ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel on two days and couldn't fault the staff. Friendly, helpful nothing was too much effort.

Regular customer to the restaurant at the Victoria. Friendly, comfortable dining room with excellent service & good, tasty food. Well known locally for their roast dinners. Have visited with family & friends. It’s our go to place for eating out. Lots of free parking & Diamond card membership with special rates for senior citizens during the week.
