The location of this accommodation is perfect. Just 10-15 minutes walk from Canterbury West Train Station. There is a Sainsbury's local at the corner and the main street is just 2 minutes walk. The host is very nice and friendly. The room is clean, bed sheet and duvet smell good. For amenities, there are only hand wash and body wash, you have to bring your own stuffs. It's a good experience to stay in this accomodation.

Charming place, with a very friendly and helpful Innkeeper. Perfectly located close to the Cathedral and the amazing centre of Canterbury.

Loved the room, the family room, very cozy and perfect for what we needed. Could have been a little cleaner, dusting. Also advertised toiletries and hairdryer. There was not any, we had traveled without, so we had to purchase. Also, mentions desk/laptop space in family room, there is not. The king bed is very tilted, not really comfortable. The bathroom does need some work but was clean and functional. Pictures should be updated online. I would definitely stay again, but not for longer than a couple of nights. Extremely convenient to Canterbury.

Clean place, good location, helpful staff

Disgusting. We checked in at 2:30, the website states 2:00 check in but when we got there the main said 2:30 check in, the curtains were filthy, smelly, the man said the electric broke in the Morning and told us it would be fixed around 4, me and my friend had plans later on in the evening and wanted ti use the shower, water was stone cold. No heating for hours. We went out and came back around 6 and the there was still no heating. The man says at 4 that he called a plumber but 2 -3 hours later he said he called a plumber yet he said he already did 2 hours ago. He said it was not 100% that the heating and water will be back in past 9:00. He did not refund us, he gave us managers number but we ring 3-4 times and he did not pick up. So disappointed and disgusted. Unfriendly staff. Had to book another hotel on a Saturday night around 7pm. We will fight for our money back. The man was also letting more and more costumers in without letting them know about the situation and still made them pay for their rooms.

I paid extra for a deluxe room which had holes in the wall, dirty surfaces and a disgusting bathroom. There was no soap, only a hand wash and shampoo that was to be used as a shower gel, no conditioner either. The water just about made it out of the shower head and gathered at my feet. No towel/mat for the floor, one hand towel and 2 small showering towels. I had to go and ask for a hair dryer which, when I tried to plug in, one of the prongs on the plug was broken off. Two plastic cups to drink out of. My husband got an electric shock from an exposed wire at the back of the T.V. which did not work and was never replaced. The free breakfast was a version of continental. Definitely not a three star hotel.
