Good for the NFL hall of fame, too far out of Cleveland for anything there, nice and clean & a great breakfast.

This was the second Hyatt Place hotel that we stayed during our road trip. The first (in Bowling Green, KY) was great. This one, not so much. The hotel location is challenging as it is right between a very busy street and Interstate 77 which makes it rather loud no matter where you room is located. We appreciate they cannot do much about that. The evening staff member who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The room was comparable in size to our first Hyatt Place experience, but was not quite as clean (a plastic tooth flossing device from an earlier guest was left on the coffee maker) and the room was definitely not as quiet. The morning staff were not as attentive. We watched as several guests waited and then left the front desk area as no one was consistently staffing the front desk. While the breakfast food was fine (hot and ample), no one cleaned any part of the breakfast area during the entire time we had our breakfast (dirty plates, mugs, napkins, silverware remained on the tables from previous guests) and there was no place for the guests to clean their own area. The staff was there (as we could hear them talking in the kitchen area), but they were not focused on the breakfast area. The hotel met our immediate need, but the staff (primarily the morning crew) did not leave us with a positive experience.

Everything was great but my room stayed insanely hot. We even turned the heat off and it was 78. Finally had to turn the air on. Got the temp down to a manageable 70. Then when I turned the air off the room got back up to 76 again.

Hyatt Place Canton is our favorite place to stay while visiting family in Alliance Ohio. The staff is Great and the breakfast is always good!! Highly recommend as a weekend getaway.

Clean big room beds was a little hard but overall very nice. And the indoor pool was one of the best I’ve ever seen. The pool was heated I do believe.
