This place was Absolutely Terrible. First of all there was no one there. No one at the desk, in fact there was no desk. In fact it was locked shut. There was a note for us on the door but the combination texted to us did not work and no one answered the door. Once finally inside it looked like the place had not been cleaned in months. Room was terrible. No place in town to eat. I would definitely not recommend anyone stay here. I think ownership may have been changing.

My husband and I stayed 4 nights here as part of Auswalk, walking the GSWW. Chloe ( and Jackie) were so welcoming. Chloe has been part of the place for 6 years so was the 'go to' person if any concerns ( though we had none). Our room had ample heating, the ensuite had great heat lamps and plenty of hot water , comfortable bed. The guest kitchen area had a fireplace and as Seaview Lodge was full of guests, it became a friendly place to chat with each other. Some were back for a second or third time. The view of the beach from our balcony was second to none...and we live in New Zealand so see plenty of beaches! The nearby cafe has great coffee too! It is an old building but has such warmth and character that you just relax and enjoy it all.

What great view , Dennis is very nice and helpful , the breakfast is good with a great choice. I really enjoyed my stay had 2 good night's sleep. This accommodation has everything you need included a shared kitchenette with sml fridge, microwave and kettle to heat a meal for yourself. It is not flash but a beautiful old house, if you are happy with that I would ( and have ) recommend anyone to stay here . I will definitely be back.

My son and I did a trip down to see the Seal Colony in Bridgewater . . . and called Dennis at Cape Bridgewater Sea View Lodge at the last minute to arrange accommodation. We arrived late that night, and Dennis had everything waiting for us at the B&B. Turns out this is a great B&B with a lot of character. Basic, but comfortable rooms (shared Kitchen and Shared TV room) and a great breakfast. Can't say enough about Dennis and how he really made the trip special by looking after us so well! The Seal colony trail was very close to the B&B and we saw plenty of both Australian Fur Seals and New Zealand Fur Seals . . . and a whale as a bonus! Took us about 1 hour to hike to the Colony with plenty to see on the way. Highly recommend it.

Cape Bridge water Sea View Lodge makes you fill like you are staying with friend's. The room was clean, comfortable and the window had a nice view of the surroundings. It was good that there where also other areas in the lodge that gave you the chance to talk the other guests.

Clean and cozy accommodation with breakfast which was ideal during our group walk doing the Aussie Camino. Dennis the host offered all we needed and is bench mark for many. Having lived in the area for many years he seems to know everything and everyone.

Dear Dennis , Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality and kindness. Your place is absolutely a comfortable home away from home. We loved every single moment of stay. My son cried to leave your place and in his kiddo words said he wanted to stay there forever 😬. Thank you so much again. Best regards Sarish and Family.

Wow! doesn’t describe it enough. A gorgeous jewel in idyllic seafront setting with an 180 degrees panorama of rolling blue white crested ocean. Olde world warm charm encapsulated at its best with modern amenities and a welcoming host. Delivers everything as stated in its description of the property. What a find!
