Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort

This hotel is outdated. The rooms are very musty smelling. The pictures online used for advertising are deceiving. The boardwalk is about a 5 minute walk from the main building. The only thing nice about this resort is the pool and drinks. The linens were stained. The pullout bed was very uncomfortable.

All was great. However the lady working the front desk on Wednesday night, was not happy and really didn’t want to help!

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the property our only disappointment was the communication with the check in staff regarding the incidental fee and that we could use it during our stay and that anything over the 115 we would just pay the difference. In actuality they refund you the incidental fee but charge you the full charge of what you charge to your room. This was not how it was explained and every hotel does things differently so this was very confusing. My only other complaint is that the baby/kid area was not heated like the main pool but besides that the main pool was wonderful and we had a lot of fun in it. We enjoyed the Thursday night dj for the pool party but wished that they had that more nights. The rooms were great.

I had some free time and wanted to get away. I thought I'd see how another Holiday Inn resort would be so i picked this one for the Lazy river, pool and a nearby Rocket launch. Thry did call to inform me the Lazy river was under construction and offered I could cancel without penalty.I decided to try it one day and if i didnt like it i could cancel the 2nd day. The drive from MCO was less then an hour. Upon arrival Chris, the Supervisor, Hooked me up with a 1st floor, spacious 2 bedroom suite with a Kitchen and livingroom. It had a small patio which was a 1 minute walking distance to the beach. From there you can see NASA launches. The bed was comfortable and there were 2 bathrooms!There is a grill/bar where you can order food and they'll bring it to your spot outside by the Tiki bar and pool. It never seemed to get crowded. The next day I had a problem with "their" policy. It contradicted what i have learned from my long history with Holiday Inns. However, The staff was firm and stood by the policy. I was not happy. Later I spoke to Chris. He consulted his manager Mr Ross. Quickly, they called me back and we resolved the matter to both our satisfaction. They were Friendly,reasonable and accomodating. It is uncommon to experience this amount of cooperation and professionalism. Kudos to them both. When I return to Cape Canaveral, i intent to stay there again.

Easy to get to by car. Not as busy as Orange Lake Resort. Cape Canaveral Resort is clean and spacious. We had a two bedroom on the first floor. Room was large and clean. Had all the kitchen essentials. Publix was 1 mile away. The walk to the beach was not too long. There is a boardwalk for accessibility. You can rent a chair on the beach. The resort staff has nothing to do with the beach rentals. Cocktails at the tiki-hut where around $15.00 each. This is a cashless resort. We enjoyed Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Light House Tours. We got lucky to view a SpaceX Launch from the beach area for free. Overall, it was a wonderful trip. We traveled during April so the resort was sold out. Lots of kids running around. We could clearly see the Cruise ships come and go from Jetty Park. In conclusion the resort met all our needs and more. Great Location. Great pools. I would go back again and again.

This is a great place! Some highlights are that the kids loved the lazy river. You have beach access and a wonderful viewing spot to see cruise ships and rocket launches. The two bedroom condos were so nice and spacious. My biggest concern is that the slide never opened, due to "high winds". This hotel in on the beach, beaches are windy. I was there as a Floridian with a lot of beach experience and I would say the wind was normal. I asked the staff, it seems the slide never opens.

I can’t even begin to explain how terrible our stay was! Out of all the things that went wrong and there were a lot. I have to say that Chris at the front desk was absolutely the rudest meanest person I’ve ever come in contact within a customer service position! He literally verbally attacked me for asking for towels and then proceeded to mansplain in front of my daughter and husband the difference between beach and bath towels. As if I was stupid! It was so atrocious I can’t even hardly put it into words. He was so rude and out of line for no reason at all. His voice was raised and he was almost yelling at me. I simply asked if we could please have some more towels and I left the front desk in tears. Aside from that I booked two queen beds and got a king for a family of 4. The only silver lining was that ******* gave me a credit for that. That mishap pales in comparison to how rude Chris was. Wow. That’s all I can say. We paid $1200 to stay two nights and the guy makes me cry. I will never go back! Do NOT book here!!

I had a death in the family and they still would not refund. Shame on you after charging me $700 for 1 night!
