Comfort Suites Jackson-Cape Girardeau

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The curtains blocked out the outside lights. The AC worked great. The shower was nice and hot. Cons: I prepaid the room using Afirm, which confused the desk clerk at check in. The hold for incidentals was $150, which is very high, most hotels I've stayed at hold no more than $50. And, as with most Comfort Inns. I find the cups for juice at breakfast to be very small. Yes, the juice is unlimited, but to have to fill the tiny cups over and over is inconvenient

A "dated" hotel that has had an attempt at refreshening and the addition of many security cameras. Hotel room was clean and fairly comfortable. The lobby doors and windows were dirty - very dirty. The lobby floor was dirty, which had me doubting breakfast time. The ONE employee in the mornings who was taking of breakfast area and lobby desk did her best Breakfast wasn't bad, wasn't great - just was.... . So no excuses on Management here - they need to help and not one person do the work. Expected more from a Choice property, but I guess its why we have chosen to typically stay in Hilton properties - they seem to care a lot more.

Clean, comfortable and accommodating. Spent an extra night because one of us was sick. Low staff and guests because of time of year. Breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and got a good night's sleep. It was the 1st stop as we headed south on our winter trip. Would stay again.

First time staying at this location. It has recently received a new facelift and looks very nice. The room is what you would expect for the brand. Overall pretty cozy. The AC in our room did not work as well as it should have. Was also a bit noisy. We did have to unplug the refrigerator as it was also noisy and was not needed. Breakfast here was pretty good. Nice variety. Downfalls of this hotel is the parking and the very slow/busy elevator.

Passing through on a business trip, made last minute reservation while driving needing rooms for the night. Easy checkin in and out, rooms were clean, staff was helpful and friendly. Decent breakfast. Keeping it on the list of where to stay if we’re in the area next year.

We made a reservation as we were coming in very late. Room was confirmed for two queen beds. When we checked in the clerk, who was very nice and friendly, sad there had been a problem with our room and they had us in King room. We needed two beds as we reserved. I’m sure they were over sold as it was graduation weekend. The clerk told us the room was not cleaned up to their expectations and the bed may not look made. I assumed the cleaning person just didn’t make bed right way. When we opened door and turned on lights I was shocked to see the floor covered in crumbs, see pictures. The beds were made but looked like they had been layed on. This was only hotel with rooms left so we were stuck. We didn’t want to walk on floor since it hadn’t been cleaned. Clerk said he would adjust the rate next day when manager got there. They had already adjusted the rate for discount and the manager never discounted our rate beyond that for dirty room!!! I did contact Choice and they apologized and put 8,000’reward points on my card. Wow big deal!!! The breakfast was very good which was a plus after not hardly sleeping worrying what was in the sheets 😂. They could have at least run a vacuum since they already knew the room was not cleaned properly. Very disappointed in lack of response from onsite manager and what I considered a meaningless offer by corporate. You can do better Choice Hotels! You have very friendly staff; now back them up!

I work as a traveler and i have been to alot of hotels. By far, this is one of the best hotels i have been in. You want a nice and quiet stay? stay here. I worked weekends, and usually weekends are the nosiest for hotels, but not here. You could not tell. Everything worked, from the tv to the hot showers. And the showers did make any noise. The beds were comfortable, not too soft but not too hard and everything was clean. I worked 30 minutes away and it was worth the extra drive. If i ever work around this area again, i will be staying here again.
