Our overnight stay was perfect...charming hotel, friendly staff, conveniently located, great restaurant with 30 % off vouchers for breakfast and dinner, happy hour, live music...highly recommended for overnight stay or multiple day stays...

This was our second stay at the Carroll Villas. What can I say, we love this great place! It’s 1/2 block to the beach. It’s walking distance to everything. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfy. The two rooms we’ve stayed in had heated bathroom tiled floors. What a nice surprise that was when we were walking around a few hours on our last stay in a cold November!! The hotel’s restaurant The Mad Batter is great. We love the breakfasts! The hotel provides a daily $30 voucher for lunch and 30% off dinner entrees. We’ve yet to have a bad meal. The cooks and servers are amazing!! The bar is the only bar in Cape May with live music nightly. We’ve seen some really impressive local musicians perform. We really love this hotel and will make it our “go to” for our yearly get away to Cape May!

We love the Carroll Villa hotel. Our room was located by the cleaning closet (#8) so I wouldn't get that room again (too noisy in the morning) but other than that, our stay was very pleasant. While other B&B's provide a free breakfast, Carroll Villa provides you with a 30% off dinner entree AND $30 off for breakfast at The Mad Batter. We had dinner and breakfast there and were thoroughly pleased with the food and atmosphere. We're not the only one who like the food. The place was packed on Sunday morning (with a lot of locals which says a lot about the food) but were able to get 2 seats at the bar. Would stay there again.

Liked everything else but the biggest disappointment was the walk back and forth to the municipal lot numerous times because the shuttle was in the shop. All of us, 3 rooms, 5 people are all in our 70's. Walking is good but the number of times back and forth left a bad impression.

Went for a 3 day getaway with my husband. Love the character of the Carroll Villa, place, nice room, clean and cozy, decent size updated private bathroom. Friendly people and if you book directly with B&B they give you $30 coupon for breakfast each day you are there at the attached Mad Batter restaurant, delicious breakfast. Will definitely be back!

This was our first visit to the Carroll Villa and we were extremely pleased. The location is in walking distance of everything. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The Mad Batter restaurant was excellent for breakfast, dinner and cocktails. The meal vouchers were a pleasant surprise and definitely go hungry.

We had a lovely time at the Carroll Villa Hotel. The staff was warm, welcoming and accommodating to our needs. It's location on Jackson is prime for all activities in the hub of Cape May. They have spacious, clean and up to date rooms. The Mad Batter restaurant is delicious and their portion sizes are extra large. I liked the fact we had so many choices for breakfast each morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Another great visit in Cape May at the Carroll Villas. Once you step in the door, you feel welcome. The rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable, and the bathroom is spacious and n8cely appointed. The restaurant on site, The Mad Batter, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus a bar with music and happy hour. The food is great and when you reserve directly from the Carroll Villa, you receive great perks. We can't wait to return in the fall.
