Denneboom Vineyards and Wildlife

This was our 2nd visit to Denneboom Vineyards and Wildlife and we will most definitely be back! Ideally situated near the various wine estates for a day visit. Come back at the end of the day and enjoy the best of both worlds, a beautiful cottage with the vineyards on one side and wildlife (like blue wildebeest, eland and springbuck) on the other. What better can you get. The cottage has everything you need to be self sufficient. If you need a restaurant on site or a busy location then this is not for you, but if you like to be private and on your own, and enjoy nature, then I am sure you will love it just as we did. Thank you for another wonderful time! We will be back!

Denneboom looks very nice , but as soon as you have to cancel due to covid they are very reluctant to do the refund for the deposit payed by us. Been more then a month now and not payed back yet. Do not book here.

We've stayed for 8 days during April. It was absolutely majestic. The best part obvious is the tranquility. Another thing that we've enjoyed was me and daughter running through the vineyards. The only downside is that we cannot have visitors, because that we have family in Paarl in Wellington. I will definitely vist this place gain.

I‘m not coming back! The surrounding of the cottage was great but the cottage itself was old and dirty. Many insects came in because we windows were not closing properly. We left earlier than planned. Next time, we will stay closer to Stellenbosch.

Location and nature are nice but - the cottage was not clean - the air conditioning was loud - small and dirty pool - the cottage was in a bad condition (loose windows and terrace roof which is really uncomfortable with so much wind, smelly sinks, no toilet brush, smelly fireplace) - many insects came in due to loose windows We left after 3 of 6 nights. The owner promised us to at least pay back one night. Then they never replied again. Would not recommend!
