OK park, but staff are rude, not child tolerant at all, they yelled at my son then deny it ever happened. Our diesel line on the van was cut, not safe. They'd rather have dope smoking loud yobbos there than families! Not a nice place to stay, you'll find better elsewhere in Cairns.

We really enjoyed our stay, everyone was really friendly and helpful. The grounds and amenities are well kept The park is surrounded by rainforest. I loved the cafe on site, they have the best smash avo on toast!

we stayed for a week in an ensuite cabin. Very clean, extremely quiet. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Booking and check-in faultless, This cabin had everything we needed. We didn't use the tiny hotplate. Went over to the BBQ and cooked our meat.

We stayed this year for July / Aug. The Park is very well maintained, by the 2 lovely, friendly groundsmen, who do a great job with the gardens , bins and assisting those who need a hand backing their vans. The amenities blocks are also kept extremely well maintained and a clear clean swimming pool. There is also lovely clean and usable camp kitchen. The Cafe is great for a coffee or even a cocktail and some food. Ruth in the office is a delight , she had been extremely helpful when we first enquired about a site, and always very friendly to everyone she spoke to either over the counter or on the phone , she is a true asset to this park. One thing I would like to see is some more sun loungers by the pool . Can't wait to be back in 2023.

We have been looking for our usual spot in Cairns - The Big 4, Crystal Cascades - as they started to be a bit arrogant towards "no grey nomads" and found this spot. Coming back now the second time in a year we really like the place. Sites big enough, pool decent, amenities old but clean and all for reasonable pricing. The lawn could have some more attention to become as lush green as the surrounding area. This is why 4 not 5 points - room for improvement 😁

Dirt and mould in bathroom No cooktop only microwave even though there is a saucepan in a the cupboard. Terrible mattress so hard and could feel the springs NOW my hip and neck are now out of alignment and I have to pay for a chiropractor. This ‘cabin’ cost $105 - I would have had a good nights sleep in a quality hotel room because with the cost of the chiropractor I would have ‘saved’ money in the end and had a decent sleep and no pain.

Clean, large amenities with baby bath and full length mirror. The shower cubicles were small making it impossible to not wet the dressing area. A mop was provided to clean the showers after use but no water in the bucket to rinse the mop! Decent and basic camp kitchen. Two large kitchen sinks with hot water although one sink was squished into a corner. We had no TV reception due to being surrounded by hills on three sides. There were no plugs in the laundry tubs. Plenty of room in the laundry for sorting clothes. I liked that part of the clothesline was sheltered so I could dry my bath towel overnight or if it rained. The biggest downside was that they made the hand dryer non-functional every day from 2200-0700 and there was no paper towel to compensate. They think one doesn't go to the toilet during the night?? Another annoyance was the loud screaming of the bush stone-curlew bird at night time. They were seen following people around the caravan park so clearly guests were feeding them, encouraging them to hang around. The caravan park is some distance from the centre of Cairns and we chose to stay here only because it was close to the Skyrail terminal. It cost $43 per night for a powered site; cheaper than a lot of other caravan parks when most are in excess of $50 per night. I would be reluctant to stay here again and instead test out a cheaper option closer to the city centre that I had initially chosen but was scared away from because of some negative reviews given that we would be staying for four nights.

Yes, its not in Cairns but we only stayed one night but found it thoroughly relaxed. Super happy friendly staff and ground crew. Good size sites and immaculate all over the site. Closed off pool looked inviting and the camp kitchen awesome and clean and tidy. Out in rainforest near a lake and trails…so visit and enjoy
