Très bel hôtel, très bien situé, avec de belles prestations.
Nous retenons toutefois la faible insonorisation entre les chambres du chateau principal, le manque de peignoirs dans les chambres pour la piscine ou de produit de soin dans la salle de bain. Notre séjour reste quand même très agréable et confortable.

A fantastic location, walkable to town. It’s a nice big grand hotel that’s a little tired in places. Our sea view room was reasonable. It’s a shame there is no spa facilities as in a sauna & jacuzzi.. had to pay £1 each for use of a towel which is a first! We did have a massage which was good value and professionally done. We ate in the restaurant which was a nice experience although they over cooked my steak somewhat which was disappointing. £7.50 for a Peroni is nuts but that’s Ive’s I guess.

There are many positive aspects of Tregenna Castle. Our room was in the older part of the castle and was really spacious. The grounds, especially the gardens, are stunning in their beauty and in the variety of plants on display. The castle offers many different activities such as golf, tennis, basketball etc. There is a gym, indoor and outdoor pool. I didn’t do any of these activities so some extra fee’s may be required. The staff are unfailingly helpful and friendly. The drawbacks include the food. We had breakfast included with the room and it was really limited. The set-up is a buffet with different choices. But given the cost of the room, we found the breakfast very disappointing. The scrambled eggs were old with chunks of dried eggs visible and were unappealing. They offer only 2 kinds of highly processed bread. Only one kind of fresh fruit-the rest was all canned. I finally walked down the street and purchased fresh fruit at the store -very cheaply. It was supposed to offer pancakes but we never saw any. They offered one small plate of cheddar cheese and some very old looking ham. To be fair if you like sausage, bacon and croissant’s you will be very happy. But we saw that the breakfast normally goes for 18 and thought that was over priced. Based on the breakfast, I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant. You can do much better at any of the restaurants downtown

Just returned from an excellent afternoon tea. Cocktail, tea or coffee. Mini fish and chips , cakes, sandwiches and scones. Very good service and friendly staff. The whole area is so well kept with beautiful grounds to walk in afterwards, very enjoyable afternoon .

Super property and gave us everything we wanted for a family weekend away. Would have been "super-excellent" if the hotel could have arranged dry weather so we could play tennis too ;-)
