This place charged a crazy rate, it’s not worth the price . The room itself is nice but not the rest. The owner tried to say it’s the location it’s not. You can get the same kind of room 20 minutes down the street actually cheaper. The view on their website in comparison very different. Hotel Colorado look it up! The wasn’t a clear place to walk my dogs. The room had a menu when I called them she didn’t know what I was talking about.

Distillery Inn won't respond to your direct outreach (as a paying guest) but they will send you an auto-email asking for reviews on public forums so here ya go!: What a disappointing experience! Among the problems with our stay over a holiday weekend: •Overcharge on bill - no response from mgmt •No hot water for days •Broken glass left in room (this was at check in!) •Temperature control panel logged out randomly so we could not manage room temp •Their "system" locked us out of our room for hours. We were ultimately told we could go back to our room but that we could not lock the door during our stay?! No explanation or apology given for any of this. The number of problems during our short stay became comical. Many of the issues we experienced may be due to the fact that this hotel is "managed" remotely. They give you a number to text or call for emergencies (you have to really look for it) - which might be OK if they responded very promptly but they do not. We had stayed at this hotel several years ago very happily so the terrible service and multiple problems with our most recent stay were especially disappointing. Location is great, decor is OK. Neither make up for how poorly run this place is.

Nice little spot with very well done rooms. Right on main street but still quiet. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The onsite tasting room has great drinks and small plates. I’m a wheelchair user and the Moonlight suite is very accessible with large bathroom and roll-in shower.

Cannot say enough about this inn. Modern , sleek and quiet. Beds are so comfy and the staff could not be any nicer! The distillery downstairs is a huge plus and they now have tapas for snacks! I didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back!

Beware. Your payment not refunded even when the shower drain results in a flooded room that you clean up. Entire bathroom and hall covered in water. Next morning management told us there was a phone number in the room to call for help but we could not find it. We did not want to stay for our prepaid second night without a working shower. Refund for unused room not given,. Unfriendly service. Inconsiderate. e and tom klingner and inconsiderate trea**ent.

This was our 4th or 5th time staying here. I would love to give The Distillery Inn a horrible review and keep this gem to myself but that wouldn't be fair to the Inn nor travelers in the Carbondale area. We love the fact that it is a contactless check-in. The day before your arrival you receive an email with the codes to enter the building and to your room. The rooms are always well presented and clean. For planning purposes, the tasting room is closed on Mondays. I've yet to do the tour of the distillery but guaranteed, next time I will. There are also some wonderful restaurants within a few blocks. The Village Smithy is great for breakfast and Allegria's for dinner.

We loved our room which was exceptionally clean and quiet. It had a wonderful view of Mt Sopris. Would definitely return! The location, right on Main Street, was also perfect. We were in walking distance of the shops and restaurants.

We had the opportunity to spend three nights here in the Ginger Suite in mid-October. It’s a great place to stay. It’s not a conventional hotel, there is no front desk or lobby. The owners send you codes to get onto the second floor and into your suite. It worked very well. The room was spacious and very nice. There is a wall panel that provides for easy controlling of the room temperature and the fireplace. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and each suite has its own private patio. We would definitely stay here again. The only warning I have is to be prepared to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. There is no elevator or bell staff.

Good room, very clean and excellent location. Inside/outside fireplace was a great touch and the private patio was wonderful. Bathrooms have wonderful rain shower heads. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and the hot water was limited to about 3 minutes. Manager said they would look into it ASAP, which was great to hear. The patio lights also didn't work. Biggest issue is that the room was cold all the time with noticeable drafts coming in the door and windows, really surprising for a building that looks quite new. The thermostat continued to climb past 75 degrees but the temperature in the room never seemed to change. Rooms are also smaller than the pictures indicate. I'm only being so picky because the rooms are quite expensive and I expected better.
