Awarded 4 stars simply for the fabulous location, just a short two minute walk up the hill to the most amazing castle, worthy of a Disney set. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, if not a little over priced. (€15 for a continental breakfast). The small heated outdoor pool, was a nice touch after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean with quirky decor, although they were vety small. My room had no wardrobe and no real space to add one. The only storage was a drawer in the bathroom. The bath was tiny, with a temperamental overhead shower. There were also areas in the bedroom where wallpaper was peeling. Not the best hotel that I've ever stayed in but if you're looking for location than this hotel is the one!

Perfectly adequate accommodation with friendly staff and in a location 5-10 minutes from the medieval city (uphill) and 10-15 minutes to the centre (downhill). Rooms are small but clean, although our room was very dark with little natural light. Lots of the hotel is a very bright orange! Did dip our feet into the pool which has jacuzzi jets. Overall a good experience.

I booked this hotel for 1 night with my 15 year old daughter. I booked a large double. It was clean and nicely decorated. We did have an issue with the sliding bathroom door, but as we were only there for 1 night, it wasn't a big issue. There was a pool, but I think it was closed. The staff on the front desk were friendly. It was a very good price via the hotel directly and was so close to the city walls, so location wise, it was excellent. I would stay again.

We were booked into this hotel, but were told by intercom we had been moved up the road to Hotel du Chateau/Hotel Montmorency as L'Octroi is been renovated. Not a big problem for us as 2 reasonably fit adults with minimal bags, but could have been with kids and big bags.

La habitación era pequeña, pero tanto el baño como la cama eran amplios. La cama era muy cómoda, y un detalle es que habían almohadas extras, lo cual no se encuentra en muchos alojamientos. Además está a cinco minutos caminando de la Cité. Lo recomendaría para pasar un par de días y explorar Carcassonne.

Je recommande. Hôtel atypique et très sympatique. Je n'ai pas eu le temps de tester la piscine mais le cadre est super, à deux pas de la cité. Standing superieur à mes attentes. Je réserverais à nouveau pour une autre occasion!

« Bel hôtel, très bien situé. Séjour trop court nous y reviendrons. Très bien situé à quelques pas de la ville fortifiée et des activités. Chambre tres confortable. Bar avec piscine adjacente et un excellent service.

Es la segunda vez que visitamos Carcassone y hemos repetido alojamiento en L' Octroi y sin duda volveremos. Excelente situación, habitaciones muy amplias y completamente reformadas. Amabilidad del personal de recepción y check-in y chek-out con rapidez. Facilidad de aparcamiento en las cercanías y parquing privado junto al hotel. Dispone de una tranquila piscina climatizada.
