I booked this hotel for 1 night with my 15 year old daughter. I booked a large double. It was clean and nicely decorated. We did have an issue with the sliding bathroom door, but as we were only there for 1 night, it wasn't a big issue. There was a pool, but I think it was closed. The staff on the front desk were friendly. It was a very good price via the hotel directly and was so close to the city walls, so location wise, it was excellent. I would stay again.

We were booked into this hotel, but were told by intercom we had been moved up the road to Hotel du Chateau/Hotel Mon**orency as L'Octroi is been renovated. Not a big problem for us as 2 reasonably fit adults with minimal bags, but could have been with kids and big bags.

The room was small, but both the bathroom and the bed were spacious. The bed was very comfortable, and a detail is that there were extra pillows, which is not found in many accommodations. It is also a five-minute walk from the Cité. I would recommend it to spend a couple of days and explore Carcassonne.

I recommend. Atypical and very nice hotel. I didn't have time to try the swimming pool but the setting is great, a stone's throw from the city. Standing higher than my expectations. I would book again for another occasion!

It is the second time that we visited Carcassone and we have repeated accommodation at L' Octroi and we will definitely return. Excellent location, very spacious and completely renovated rooms. Friendliness of the reception staff and quick check-in and check-out. Easy parking nearby and private parking next to the hotel. It has a quiet heated pool.

The hotel is nicely located near the enclosed city of Carcassonne - parking is in a secure and closed spot across the street from the hotel; The reception was small, but we were greeted with a nice smile. Our room was small, but sufficient for the night (we did make a reservation. Including the nice breakfast, with taxes the bill came to almost 160 euros. There is a small pool and we did not swim, but at least we lounged around the pool area. Overall it was also very clean.
