Once there I was asked to provide my bank card as a deposit because apparently there was a problem with Trip.com, I presented my card without worries and the next day when I wanted to check-out IBIS asked me to repay the amount of the reservation because they say they have not received payment from Trip.com, I refuse and I call the Trip.com service who tells me not to pay anything and they call IBIS to explain the situation to them suddenly IBIS informs me that it's good and I leave the hotel without paying anything, but a few hours later I receive a notification from my bank telling me that IBIS has debited the amount from my card. Now I find myself paying twice the same amount!!

Ich bin mit Ibis Hotels immer zufrieden. Auch mit dem in Carcassonne. Die Lage ist perfekt. Allerdings finde ich den Preis doch zu hoch für das Gebotene. Das Zimmer war ok, aber entsprach nicht dieser Preisklasse. Die Rezeptionistin wirkte gestresst und überfordert. Hoteleigener Parkplatz war auch nicht verfügbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut.

The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a couple of problems with our room but everything was soon addressed. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. The hotel is centrally placed and close to the airport shuttle bus.

Small room, the bed was very comfortable and we had a view of the medieval city from a room at the back of the hotel. Air con did not work, had been switched to heat only, so we found the room very warm.
Staffe werevery friendly and helpful during our stay, and breakfast was good. Excellent location for exploring the old and new towns

La sorpresa fue que la habitación no estaba preparada a las 18h el día de llegada. El ascensor no funcionaba y no nos avisaron con antelación. Muy mala educación de la recepcionista que nos atendió. No quisieron facilitarnos el libro de reclamaciones...

Personnel très agréable. La salle de bain vetuste et mal entretenue, rideau de douche sale, chambre pas du tout agréable, vue sur une friche immobilière. Trop chère vs prestation.
