Beautiful boutique hotel stylishly designed and they thought of everything equipping the room. Scenery and location can’t be beat and surrounding area is vibrant, homey and full of great eating choices. Wonderful staff assisting with all needs. Roof top patio is spectacular. We will stay again if we find our way back to this part of California.

My wife and I spent our first anniversary here and it was a delightful little hotel. The room was fantastic. The bathroom was beautiful, from the fixtures to the tile. The furniture was very tasteful and comfortable.
The staff were so friendly, greeting us by name each time we entered the lobby or saw them on the property. They took very good care of us.
Cardiff is a wonderful sleepy surf town, just what we wanted.
We will be back for sure.

The hotel was wonderful before and now after renovations it is even better! The staff is very nice and helpful. Each room hss a record player and there are new records of all music styles from which to pick. Rolling Stones! Street parking is available for free or paid garage parking. The rooftop area is outstanding with Pacific views. The area is beautiful with restaurants close by. Cannot wait to stay again!

Wow… we had such a great time at Cardiff by the Sea Lodge. Our only regret was in not spending more time here. Beautifully decorated and appointed. Clean and new conditions. Rooftop space is amazing. Enjoyed sunset and sunrises from view. Convenient to dining and within easy walking distance to beach. Also, a great selection of vinyl to check and spin during stay. Highly recommend!

This hotel is so cute and fun! The views were amazing, the beds were super comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We booked two rooms for a last minute stay and we would absolutely return. The rooftop is also beautiful although we didn’t get to enjoy it much due to weather I cannot wait to return.

This has been my favorite beach hangout for a long time, and my first time back after the renovation. While everything works better, and the breakfast is much more yummy, it has lost its charm for me with its minimalist modern decor. What I especially miss is the rooftop garden- just lots of chairs and tables. The beds are now foam, so while comfortable, they sleep hot. We will visit again, just not when it's warm. Nevertheless, those that like the minimalist design will find this place a great place to stay.

Location can not be beat. The rooms were current and cute. The shower was fantastic which is near impossible to do in CA. Great vibe, record player in each room with vinyl in the lobby to borrow. Amazing customer Sercive. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub has been removed.

This is a newly restored lodge. The lobby was charming and our room was lovely. We had an ocean view room, which a huge bay window. Everything was very clean and all of the employees we interacted with were wonderful. This lodge is located next to a bar (our room was directly over it) so there was the usual noise one would expect from a bar with an outdoor area in the evening. Besides that, things were fairly quiet. The rooftop deck is a great place to watch the sunset or enjoy breakfast in the morning. The Rose Hill coffee shop across the street is wonderful and we grabbed a breakfast burrito from The Breakfast Place around the corner. The beach is a five minute walk away, as are several great restaurants. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable time-- just be aware that you might hear some noise from the bar.

Fabulous I will definitely return , very well appointed room . Great. Location , fresh green juice an muffins in the morning. Immaculate grounds , staff do friendly an helpful . Can’t wait to return in the future . Great coffee shop 2 blocks over and there is coffee on premises
