Very old hotel. There is a small courtyard where you can sunbathe and there is a fireplace. The breakfast is also very good. Although the price is not cheap, it is still worth the money.

I wanted to book a hotel in Wanaka, but they were all fully booked, so I settled on the Cardrona Hotel between Wanaka and Queenstown! After arriving, I found it on the side of the highway, which was quite disappointing, but! I was shocked when I entered the hotel! There are restaurants and bars in the hotel, all with very retro decoration. Later I learned that the hotel has a history of more than 150 years! The garden behind the hotel is particularly beautiful! Recommended!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at this charming hotel. We loved the beautiful gardens and friendly atmosphere. The hot tub was a nice surprise after hiking all day.
