Carmel Resort Inn

We arrived at the hotel after 9 PM, and the friendly staff kindly checked us in. Parking was conveniently located right outside our room. The room was clean overall, with distinct functional areas. The living room was right as you entered, though the bathroom was a bit on the smaller side. The two bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped and easy to use.

The hotel entrance, with its manor-like design, instantly made me feel at home. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well-heated, and even included a coffee machine, which was a great touch.

The location is a bit out of the way in Carmel, a little far from the town center. The bedding wasn't a duvet with a cover; instead, it was two sheets sandwiching a blanket. The room was quite spacious, with a cabin-like feel.

Facilities: Fully equipped and brand new. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Picturesque and tranquil. Service: Attentive and warm.

The facilities are quite outdated. The heating was insufficient, making the room pretty cold. It was very quiet, but didn't offer good value for money.

The room was rather basic, and the facilities felt a bit dated. While it was convenient to park right by the room, the property generally felt quite old and worn. With no breakfast included and a relatively high price, the value for money wasn't great.
