What a great hotel. Besides the breakfast being delivered to your room and the greatest breakfast, the staff are super nice and helpful. Walking down to town easy from this hotel.will be back definitely. The only thing you do need to know is it’s up on a hill and if u don’t like hills this would be a challenge for you

This absolutely tropical Zen Oasis in the middle of beautiful Carmel is a place we will return to again and again. The exterior grounds are beautifully manicured, the room was everything we could hope for and more - comfortable, serene, and relaxing. The breakfasts served to our room each morning were light and delicious, perfect for starting each day. The location is an easy downhill walk to the beach, shops, eateries, and galleries. We loved this place so much and cannot wait to return.

Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay. The only minor drawback was that the breakfast was a continental breakfast. However, there were choices, it was filling and was brought to the room.

We were upgraded to a suite and it was great. Very nice rooms, well maintained and served a breakfast each morning based on our choice and time. Very nice and well maintained courtyard. Located in a quite neighborhood and off street parking. Would highly recommend to friends and others.

Upon check in we were offered chocolate chip cookies. 🍪 The room had everything we needed, with exception of AC but didn’t really need it in April. They did supply a fan which was very helpful to move the air. Breakfast was included which is delivered to your door in a little basket, very nice touch. For us the beds were a little soft, but this is a personal preference. The property is a very Zen space with Buddha’s, lots of bamboo and greenery. It is quite beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent stay at Tradewinds and definitely would go back. Here is a short list of everything we liked: 1. Parking. We had no issues finding parking in their lots or on street right by hotel. 2. Short walk to downtown Carmel and all the shops/eateries. 3. Rooms were clean. Loved the beds and the sheets. 4. The grounds of the hotel were clean and relaxing. Several water features throughout. 5. Every morning breakfast was delivered to the room. Can choose breakfast the day before. This was our first trip to Carmel and would definitely go back to the Tradewinds. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant to speak to. It was perfect for what we were looking for.

This is a Great Hotel. I highly reccomend it. The room was beautiful and the grounds were very pretty and calming. The Staff was very helpful and friendly. It is close to everything, although it is a little bit of an uphill climb after a glass(es) of wine. This was our first time there and we Loved our stay there! We look forward to going back.
