The staff was very nice and helped me with directions to get certain areas.
The room lacked a few items. No internet service. The breakfast was not opened until 7:30 when
travelers may need more than a cup of coffee and muffin.
No coffee makers in the rooms or microwave.

Love the Pine Inn, its history and location. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable at the end of Ocean Avenue so great walking from one end of town to the other!!!

From the moment we entered pine inn to the time we left we were treated like royalty. The front desk was more than welcoming Annette Sherry and others made the state memorable. We got wonderful recommendations for dinners and lunches. The bed although a bit high was super comfortable as where the pillows. A room number 12 had a lovely view of the sea.

Great central location in the heart of Carmel. Free parking with plenty of spaces. Short walk to the seafront and an amazing walk along to a viewing point of Point Lobos. We were in room2 which was separate from the main hotel, up a short flight of stairs, overlooking main high street. Small room but huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath. No complementary tea/coffee in the room but was provided with hot water to make my own. Reception staff were very helpful with how to make the most of our stay with places to visit. A map of the area showing points of interest, in the rooms would have been helpful

It should be rated a 2star. Old rooms with dirty lamp shades, internet and tv down, no elevator, bed made noise everytime you moved, smelly room. So overpriced for the value. The staff were all very nice.

Very nice historic hotel in downtown Carmel steps from the beach. Only problem we found was that the room was a little cold.

Nice place, quaint and comfortable. Staff was great! Restaurant and cafe onsite. Walk to shops and restaurants in Carmel. Quick to 27 mile and Pebble.
