Such a warm welcome, beautiful room and delicious breakfast! We ate in the restaurant for dinner and this was also delicious. Already planning our next visit

Yet again another excellent meal at The Station Hotel. The place was packed as usual. That tells you something straight away. You can't fault anything from the staff to the freshly cooked food. Definitely one to try. The three course Sunday lunch menu is very popular and often sells out. Make sure you book first.

Excellent hotel. My room was just fine for me. I was offered a larger room but asked for a smaller one. Loved the skylight through which I could see the stars one night. Very comfortable bed. Room cleaned and bed re-made daily. Shower room / toilet very clean. Excellent tea/coffee/biscuits provided in the room. Also, a small fridge in the room was a very welcome addition. Superb selection of beers in the bar - six real ales on pump - all in great condition. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I go to the Station Bar for lunch many times because it is so welcoming and they always want to please of which is what is described as brilliant customer service.... but it is Bev who manages the Bar that makes that all possible.... without her the bar would not have the brilliant ambience that people go in to enjoy themselves.

I do like the restaurant part of the hotel however its not very consistent on what time of day its open. On several occasions I've come their in hope of having lunch there only to find there not open yet or not severing food till later, resulting in me having to find somewhere else to get food.

We had Sunday lunch in the Junction restaurant and it was superb. The staff were lovely and welcoming. My husband said his roast was one of the best he's ever had and I had the broccoli, asparagus and leek cobbler which was mouth-watering. The only thing I regretted was opting for the Mother's Day Set 3 course lunch as I ended up leaving uncomfortably full, not being able to resist the delicious food on offer. Two courses would have been just right - the portion sizes are very generous!

good size room, great shower, great breakfast, good coffee, friendliest hosting we have seen in a long while, great team work Maggie and Lily, oh and of course Glen. Enough couldnt be done for you, we would definitely stay again just for the hosting itself, its onsite pub and food is perfect after travelling and arriving just wanting to chill

Fabulous! Food was excellent, good quality and really tasty. Shared the garlic mushrooms and duck egg to start (delicious) followed by surf and turf and chicken burger with onion bhaji, all really lovely! Looked after by a great guy called James, will definitely come here again
