Truro

First time staying in a Premier Inn and not impressed. On arrival in the car park the hotel looked very tired, nothing like the online photos. Our check in was from 3pm. We arrived at 2:40 and asked if we could still check in? No, not unless you pay £10!! We sat in the car until 3pm. Got in the room to find one hand towel and one bath towel between two of us for three nights and the toilet seat loose and nearly hanging off. Complained to reception who arranged another bath towel but said one hand towel between two is standard. Receptionist said she would tighten the seat while we were out. She did but it was loose again next day. The trim is also hanging off the front of the dressing table something that must just be ignored every day. They also provide clothes hangers but no rail to hang them on. So, you have to hang clean clothes on the coat hooks with your wet coats.

Lovely staff, clean and tidy room, excellent breakfast and a good night's sleep.Good location aswell, only 3 miles from Truro.

The pillows are next level, very comfy. Also I must add that Georgina on reception was fantastic! Great local knowledge and very friendly, wonderful customer service 👌🏻

Premier Inn conveniently located for most Cornish attractions on a hillside site 3 miles South of Truro. Fully booked on the weekend we visited, only downside was lack of lift but Kelly on reception juggled room to ensure relatives with limited mobility were given a room on the ground floor with no steps.

Very tired Premier Inn. Nothing like the bright shiny hotels shown in their advertisements. Badly in need of refurbishment. No excuse for peeling paint on skirting in the bathroom by the toilet. 😱 Old fashioned “shower” - have to get in the bath to use. Plastic shower curtain. Not reachable other than by car/taxi. Ok as a very basic hotel, but definitely not one to spend much time in your room. The room was dark because the window was level with a wall and bushes etc.

The location was perfect for a pick-up the next day in Penryn, with easy access and parking off the main road. Slightly blunt welcome and had some snags getting the Wi-Fi to work, but otherwise I was very pleased. The room itself was of great quality, clean, with an easy-to-use thermostat, and the shower excellent (simple controls!). Had a great night's sleep. Eve meal and breakfast in the adjacent Beefeater were really good too, with welcoming and friendly service and prompt, tasty food. Overall better than I had expected actually, and would definitely stay again.

Great room and the beefeater next door very convenient. Plenty of parking. Tracey the assistant manager on reception was really welcoming and helpful sorting out meals for me. Breakfast and evening meal next door were good and quick service. Would stay again, thanks !

Just had a stay at premier Inn Exeter and was disappointed with bfast and staff😲Was this an off day? Maybe!Stay at premier alot round the country and always happy with it. Have to say tho Carbon Downs exceeds itself 👌 Bfast and staff there first class!. Always smiling, helpful, bfast beautiful👌 Like to thank Claire especially 👌 Always remembers you and wot you like. Goes out of her way making the start to your journey a good one. Totally recommend it. Even if it is just a bfast you want drop in. So much better than a cafe up town 👌

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Georgina who dealt with a checking in issue with a big smile on her face and a very can do attitude. Made a very long day a very good one.
