The cleanliness of the building was great however the customer service was not. For the amount that these rooms go for it was not worth the price. The shower in the bathroom had flooded the bathroom floor into the hallway. Front desk was of course notified and all they did was clean up the water and then lock us out of the bathroom. Called front desk again because

My overall experience with the Doubletree was average. The hotel staff was nice. Checkin was easy. The drive from the Long Beach Airport to the hotel was anything but pleasant. The room was clean and rather basic. The surrounding area is very questionable. After my short walk around the hotel, I decided I needed to stay in the hotel and not leave the property. The pros and cons of the property make it just average. I hope you enjoy your stay at the Doubletree in Carson, CA ( this is not Long Beach).

Christine at the front desk is a gem, warm nice friendly welcome. Same with Gabby (I believe that's her name) at the restaurant, efficient smiling and friendly as well.

Great stay at this what seems like a remodeled hotel! Great pool area if you have time to sit there - restaurant is good, breakfast buffet is overpriced! Rooms are nice but do you think you could go buy some new shower heads at Home Depot seems like the only thing not replaced! My shower had just a trickle Colin out of the shower!
