First of all, the hotel is under renovation. The pool is closed. They didn’t mention it when we called wyndham for the reservation. They also didn’t mention that there is a $25 per pet charge. When we got into our room, the room above us had overflowed its toilet.. There was water and other liquids on our bathroom floor. It took about 45 minutes for them to finally agree to move us to another room because the hotel was full. The original room was disgusting. We had driven for 12 hours and checked in about midnight so the delay was unacceptable. The staff wasn’t very interested in solving our issue. I will say that the maintenance guy was very helpful. As far as the new room goes, there was no water pressure in the shower. Most of the water continued to flow out of the faucet. There was no hairdryer in the room. The room does not have sufficient light, which always makes me nervous. There was a lot of splattered paint on the carpet and then the bathroom. There was no soap. The common areas were bright and clean. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. There is a guest laundry with one washer and one dryer but the hotel didn’t have any quarters or detergents to sell. Fortunately, the maintenance guy gave me some detergent which was very nice. We met the owners who were very nice. I think the hotel has good potential but it’s not ready yet.
