This was a disappointing stay from start to finish and it was not cheap! Our room was small and not well lit. There was no light source on wall side of bed. No blow dryer in the bathroom. Antiquated in that there are no charging ports anywhere. I HATE the wall hung shampoos and body wash. One tiny bar of soap left on the sink. The shower base was cracked and repaired and cracked again. Mildew and buildup around shower walls and doors. Otherwise room was fairly clean, but smelled musty. The bed was not comfortable. When we came back to our room for our second night stay they had not cleaned or refreshed it -and only after you look it up in the fine print, do you see that they will only do it in an every other day basis if you stay more than one night. We had to ask for more towels and bar soap. Staff was accommodating. Night staff is especially kind. Breakfast was fine, but on a holiday weekend they were out of plates and substituting bowls. They were also out of biscuits during peak service times. I watched staff fill their “bowls” with breakfast items during peak breakfast hours as well which seems questionable —especially as I know the young man trying to keep the service going had told the desk staff he was running short on items. Whether this is a franchise or not, the Marriott name is attached and I think there should be more attention to making this hotel a better stopping point. We paid nearly 500.00 for two nights and I expect better than that.
