Basic hotel accommodation but well located. Our room required some maintenance during our 4 day stay. Took two requests to have these items corrected. Beds were hard. Wifi worked well. This was our second time staying at this facility but we won’t stay again. Not well managed in my opinion.

Very comfortable, you can choose between studio's, apar**ents and villa's. We got an upgrade and were very lucky to have a roof terrace. Friendly staff, good cleaning and within walking distance to the center.

I have now been to Pestana Palm Gardens twice: during the Chris**as holidays for 2 weeks with my husband and 3 children, then around Easter for 8 days with my mother and sister for a walking holiday. Both times in a mansion with (partial) sea and garden views. Super nice, spacious and clean apar**ents, fully equipped and with their own outdoor area and access to the garden. If I may give 2 negative points: 1) the kitchen is well equipped, but nevertheless we would have liked to use an extra (large) frying pan and two small sharp cutting knives and 2) the apar**ents are quite noisy (you can hear the neighbors well). to belong). But these are minor inconveniences that do not outweigh the space in the apar**ent, the great spot on the cliff (beautiful view and close to the beach) and the friendly staff. In addition, it is possible to walk beautifully along the coast over the cliffs from your apar**ent in both directions (Seven Hanging Valleys Trail on one side, the Alcar Seco and Carvoeiro on the other). After the walk it is also nice to relax the stiff muscles in the sauna (free reservation for up to 4 people for one hour). In short: highly recommended!

This property suited us perfectly. It was in easy driving distance to some of the coastal highlights, the restaurant food was excellent and it was in a quiet neighbourhood away from the busy downtown core.

After having had very good experiences with this hotel in 2023, we had also booked a few days for this year from March 25th (Townhouse Superior V2 with sea view). Unfortunately, demolition work is currently taking place on the neighboring property. The demolition excavator with its chisel is about 75m from our row of houses (house number 27G was planned). According to a couple from the Netherlands who had held out for a few days because it was the weekend, a peaceful stay was out of the question. The hotel was apparently well booked before Easter and was unable to offer us alternative accommodation out of earshot. We therefore canceled via Booking (max. first night was payable) and looked for other accommodation in Carvoeiro. I can therefore only advise everyone to find out in good time how far their accommodation is from the demolition work. This is likely to drag on for a long time and then a new building may follow.
