❤️ the convenient location to explore both Oregon & Washington in the Gorge! The view is spectacular! ❤️ going to the Bridgeside next door for a free hot breakfast! ❤️ the friendly staff & the new coffee-cocoa in the lobby! Truly a gem! ❤️ It’s our go to place to stay!

Wonderful hotel nestled next to Columbia River with a stunning view of Bridge of the Gods! Very clean rooms, and nice amenities. My only note is that cellphone coverage is spotty in cascade locks. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Our room had a river view. How wonderful to sit on the veranda and watch the water and the trains. The rooms are clean and the staff are all friendly. The Thunder Island Brewing is almost next door so that is an option for dinner. Also breakfast is served next door(which was great). I recommend this place.

My husband and I stayed here 5 nights while travelling through Oregon this spring. The hotel is very nice and in a great location along the Columbia River. The views are breathtaking and they have a nice little patio overlooking the river to relax at the end of the day. They offer breakfast in the restaurant beside the hotel, with a nice menu to order off of, included with your stay. There is also a coffee machine in the hotel for anyone to use 24 hours a day. The best thing is the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and greeted us every time we walked in after our daily travels. They asked where we had gone and made some great suggestions for the next day as well. They couldn’t have been nicer. We want to thank each and every one that was at the front desk during our stay. You all were wonderful to deal with and made us feel like family.

Paper thin ceiling. Loud freight train right outside window, blowing horns all day long. Smell of vomit emanating from HVAC blower unit.
How did this place have such a high rating? Never again!

Enjoyed my stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast, clean & functional room with a great view overlooking the river and mountains. *Though it bothers me not, if you don't like the sounds and vibrations of a busy railroad, then be warned!

Pros: Nice staff. Gorgeous river views. Rustic lodge decor. Keurig and fridge in the room. Breakfast at the restaurant next door.
Cons: Super high beds are difficult to navigate. Active train traffic.
