Environment Location: The location is quiet, with easy parking and in a walkable neighborhood. There is a grocery store within a 10-minute walk and some good restaurants nearby. Free parking is available. The house is in a beautiful area like Cascais.

I booked this on *********** after reading good reviews…how wrong was I. The room was up 2 flights of stairs and was an attic room with a sloping roof in the eaves so we could only stand up in half the room. It was a constant battle not to bang your head. The bed was a small double with a very hard mattress and hard pillows. There was no wardrobe or dressing table but a chest of drawers and a small hanging clothes rail both under the eaves so difficult to use either. A small velux window in the roof for light and the smallest tv possible on the wall. The private bathroom was down and across the outside corridor..(silly me thinking it was en-suite) the towels were old,hard and scratchy. The room itself was clean enough as was the bathroom and the fact the kitchen was open to all with tea and coffee etc was a plus point. However, taking everything into account and given that the place was fairly out on a limb, I certainly wouldn’t recommend at all.
