The room was arranged as a corner room, and the balcony looked out from an oblique perspective.
There is no turndown service, the reason is that it is only for one night, and no turndown service is provided. But housekeeping came in and unplugged our charging outlet and put the toilet lid back on.
The service at the front desk is also very poor, there is no greeting at all.
The person who waited for the parking lot saw the guests coming and was still on the phone.
Overall, this is the worst of the 5 star hotels.

We spent two nights here as part of a business trip. The hotel rooms were really nice, although we ended up with a disabled access room. There was an international charger in the room but no usb outlets - a surprising omission. The service was good and there’s plenty of meeting space for large groups. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Nice water views

Another amazing stay . From start to finish we had a wonderful time . Our room was just beautiful with fantastic views of the pool and sea . This hotel is the best in Cascais. I have tried all the 5 star accommodation in the area . We were always made feel special by the great staff . Andre especially spoke to me on the phone before we arrived and make some extra arrangements. Thank you again . The hotel has a charm that works . The furnishings are stunning . Spotless clean . See you again soon

We had a lovely 6 nights stay at the Grande Real Villa Italia. The hotel is amazing, rooms are confortable and quiet, staff is super friendly. A special comment about the amazing buffet breakfast !

I booked this hotel to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary, best decision I ever made, I contacted the hotel & arranged to have a bouquet of flowers for my wife on arrival, the young lady on reception (Beatriz) is an absolute star & is a credit to the hotel. My word for the hotel is "sumptuous" we had a suite (room 211) superb room, massive. The bed was also huge all around a very comfortable experience. Another staff member who should get a mention is Hassan, a very engaging young man, great with the guests he was working on the Terrace on the evening of the 14th April. I had pre booked the hotels restaurant The Belvedere for the evening of the 15th pretty much a perfect evening, the food the setting the staff the wine, top notch, most memorable. Top tip, even if you are not a guest give their restaurant a go, you will not be dissapointed. Breakfast was superb, if you can't find something to enjoy on their offerings I would be mightily surprised. The staff in the breakfast room work hard to ensure you are looked after. I can't wait to return, this hotel is getting it right, the staff are mainstay of this wonderful hotel, thank you one & all for a magnificent stay, I just wish it could have been longer.
