Cannot rate this hotel highly enough. The breakfasts were incredible. The bed large and comfortable and the room service of a high quality. The receptionist on our arrival was welcoming and helpful and the waiting staff in the restaurant were both happy and hard working. It was a real pleasure stopping at this hotel.

What a lovely hotel, from the moment you arrive the staff are so very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed to be too much for them. The room was comfortable, nice super king bed, air conditioning and window that opened if you wanted fresh air instead. Bathroom basic but clean and the room was cleaned to a high standard on a daily basis. The breakfast was tasty and lots to choose from, it was kept hot which is good as many buffet breakfasts seem to go cold quickly. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was delicious, good portions and reasonably priced - can't comment on desserts as always too full to try one. Again the staff were exceptional and attentive, without constantly being around you. The food came out quickly, hot and well presented. The pool and garden area are kept very clean and we enjoyed using these areas at the end of a sightseeing day. Only negative is that we only spent 4 nights there!

The location is pleasant and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful, The rooms are very comfortable, the food is very good with particular emphasis on fish and the service is very friendly and efficient. The garden and pool are very pleasant with lots of comfortable seating. The only problem is the lack of a lift for those with physical issues

Just returned from a week at this lovely hotel. Superior room with a very comfortable bed. Sadly unable to take advantage of the outdoor pool as weather not good, but the grounds are lovely and the seating area outside the restaurant is a suntrap,if only the sun had stayed out for longer than a few minutes at a time! The restaurant food excellent. However the best part about this hotel is the happy friendly helpful staff

Our first trip to Guernsey in 40 years and we wanted a quiet country house hotel away from the bustle of the town and beaches and yet within easy reach of both. Le Friquet came up five star trumps both in terms of our accommodation for the week, but the quality of food ( particularly sea food) on offer plus an excellent international team who were exceedingly well trained. There was a world map in the foyer and on it were the names of where the staff had come from - I counted 16 nationalities in all and yet the manager had blended them all into a top class team which we couldn't fault. It was important to book for evening meals as it proved to be very popular with local people - and we were not surprised. Lots of special fish options each evening and a tank full of live lobsters to greet you before you were seated. Lovely gardens, an excellent swimming pool and we came home fully chilled. Well done Le Friquet - full marks all round.

We've been coming here for five years and love the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Ideally located for exploring Guernsey, lovely to come back each evening to a good dinner and a lovely comfortable bed. Feels like coming home! We will be back again.

Bel établissement avec de belles prestations. Notre chambre était correcte mais située près des espaces du personnel donc un peu bruyant. Hôtel un peu dangereux d'accès si vous arrivez à pied car il n'y a pas de trottoir sur la dernière partie du chemin. Une mention spéciale pour tout le personnel qui fait un travail formidable, tous les membres étaient adorables et très professionnels. Le petit déjeuner est le meilleur que nous ayons eu de notre séjour et le restaurant sert une cuisine excellente.

The Hotel still maintains its high ranking status for high quality in every way. The staff have always been very friendly and eager to please - nothing is too much trouble. The food options are slightly restricted as it is mainly a fish restaurant but that does not mean that the meat options are poor,...very good in fact. If the weather is fine - the pool and garden are a delight.

Overall it was a lovely break, food was fantastic, staff were friendly and room and overall hotel were in a first class state. Only small, be picky, is service in the restaurant could have been better, particular provision of drinks after ordering food...often after starter even when politely chased. Would I go again and recommend, YES.
