Front desk did not know English. Couldn't recommend a place to get a bottle of water.
They mean well but if you don't speak Spanish think again.
The vending machines don't work.
The couch was full of ants and as a result also our luggage.
There were no hot water. The staff rang the bell when they came to help and woke our 2 babies.
My wife was bitten by bugs the entire night.
Truly a unique experience.

Very neglected apartments. Very dirty, damaged furniture, torn curtains, full of ants and cobwebs. A horrible experience. Luckily they gave us our money back, since the condition of the apartments was deplorable. Sofa burned by cigarette butts. Awful

In my life I have had such a bad experience. We had a reservation for the week of May 15. At the time of booking I made sure that these apartments accepted pets, since I was traveling with my partner and my dog. The surprise was when we arrived, they had given us an apartment in another building that did not accept pets. Far from giving us a good solution, the receptionist told us that they cannot take care of anything and booking will not do it either, since nowhere moment I name my dog (in booking there is no option to name her and I had booked an apartment that they did accept). After fighting he gives me another option. They had a studio, a bass, that they had just built. He's going to show it to me and it was all full of dust, from the workers, with the bed already made, so I guess the sheets weren't even going to be changed, and he still tells me that of course, it's of a lower category so it would be more cheap, but since they are not to blame for my mistake, I will have to pay the same (the other was an apartment, with a room, kitchen and terrace) and the supplement for the dog. I left fuming, and called booking, at the time they told me that if the apartments made any changes they would have to do it to an apartment with the same conditions (so the fault was theirs), of the same class or higher ( never inferior, as they were doing). The booking people tried to contact them but since the unpresentable people neither picked up the phone nor answered the emails, they had to relocate me somewhere else, with booking assuming the difference. All this with how difficult it is to find a hotel in good condition in Barcelona that accepts pets.
