A lovely B&B in the centre of Castellina with 12 restaurants all within 10min walking distance (some are closed out of season) The room was spotlessly clean, roomy and with plenty of storage space. A nice spacious bathroom with a walk in shower. Tremendous views across the valley from the window. The room is air conditioned. Serena the owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Parking is available at the front and back.

We stayed 1 night with Mariani after a long tedious day in Siena. We had stayed the previous night in Castellina in Chiante and so chose to return to the same town. The B&B was simply furnished but immaculately clean and Mariani spoke wonderful English and made us feel at home. Breakfast was fine and Mariani was very friendly and helpful.

My husband, young daughter and I stayed here after a horrible travel day into Tuscany. Our first accommodation didn’t work out and Serena the owner truly swept in and saved the day. It’s a very nice place to stay within minutes walk from town. This places has Wi-Fi and she gave us a discount card to many restaurants in the town. Her breakfast she served every morning was wonderful and she really made us feel very welcome. We stayed in August which I wouldn’t recommend due to the extreme heat but because we were there for a wedding we made it work. There isn’t air conditioning at this location- many places in this area do not have it but it was still very nice. We had a last minute change in our travel plans so we had to leave abruptly but we were still able to contact Serena for a smooth departure. We highly recommend any travelers to stay here.

Posto meraviglioso, camera pulitissima. Mi sono sentita a casa e accolta nel migliore dei modi. Serena, proprietaria del beb una ragazza veramente di cuore e gentilissima e disponibilissima! Colazioni abbondanti! È stato un viaggio meraviglioso, un ritiro spirituale importante per me, e questo beb sarà parte di un fantastico ricordo. Grazie di cuore

Struttura pulita e ben tenuta nel centro di Castellina, camera accogliente e confortevole. Colazione varia e abbondante. Serena, la proprietaria, è stata di una gentilezza impagabile, attenta alle nostre esigenze e sempre sorridente. Ottimo punto di partenza per visitare la zona del Chianti

You can enjoy a breathtaking panorama if you are at the Mariani bed and breakfast. Clean and welcoming and a stone's throw from the historic center of Castellina in Chianti. The owner Serena is nice, welcoming, very kind and extremely available. To come back.

It wasn't enough for me. Slept very badly. Bad beds. And it was way too hot. There was no air conditioning. If you don't have a room with a view, you really have nothing to do. The lady is very friendly. And the bathroom was fine. It is also very central to the town. (The town itself, fine, but you can also skip it.) Booking and here it gives a high score, so we had a completely different expectation.
