Correct hotel, has all the necessary services. Quiet and undisturbed rooms.

I don't recommend it for a spa. Disappointment! The staff were attentive and very friendly but the spa was very weak. Noisy as there is no minimum age restriction for spa users. Very small, very bright. Very poor changing rooms, without support tables or hairdryers. My robe was damp and I had to wear the same wet robe after the massage. No offer of relaxation details, such as tea or others. For a moment of relaxation, I clearly don't recommend it.

We spent two nights in this hotel. The right room. The buffet breakfast was very rich, we had the opportunity to eat one day at the hotel, they have an executive menu for 14 euros per person, the food was very good. The spa consists of a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a Turkish bath and a sauna. All right. Recommendable. I think the best option would be to go in summer, since going in December the outdoor pool cannot be enjoyed. The decoration of Penafiel at Christmas is very beautiful. And the decoration of the hotel is beautiful.

My wife and I used to go there twice a year, but this time the quality has really dropped! - Dinner: buffet not much choice, 3 salads and 3 main courses (very basic) for 30 EUROS PER PERSON. I gave 2 stars just because the service was correct and the breakfast was always impeccable. In conclusion: the hotel is relatively good but the restaurant should be avoided (it's a scam)

We were at this lovely hotel on the 11th and 12th of November. We were very well received by Paulo and his team. It was Saint Martin's Day and we were lucky enough to participate in an excellent dinner, on a very lively night, it was truly unforgettable, we drank new wine, jeropiga and ate the delicious chestnuts, which are typical of that time. Our apartment was very good, with a beautiful view of the garden. Delicious and super complete breakfast. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the spa, which seemed very beautiful and organized. We certainly had beautiful moments, which we will miss. We highly recommend it.

Indoor pool opening hours are very restrictive for children, children between 2 and 12 years old can only visit between 10am and 12pm and between 3pm and 6pm and the spa is open between 10am and 8:30pm practically every day , apart from Monday and Tuesday which closes at 5pm (removing another hour of possible use for those traveling with children) This type of discriminatory situation is regrettable and I will not make any type of future reservation nor will I recommend the hotel.

The hotel is quite good although in our case we have a "but" that I will detail below. We made the reservation through booking and it seems that due to some mistake of mine I only indicated that we were 2 adults and 1 child, when in reality we were 2 adults, 1 child and 1 4-month-old baby... I could swear that I had selected all that in booking, but well... also in the requests there was "extra crib" and "extra bed" (which appear in the booking reservation)... but when we arrived at the hotel they had assigned us a room with a double bed and a sofa bed ( (extra extra bed)... to which I asked them if I could have a crib in the room and they told me that a crib couldn't be put in that room because it was very small. That's my but... they didn't suggest moving to another room, I don't know if the hotel was full, but they didn't give me any other option than to "find a life." Once in the room, I think that if a crib could have been put in, there would have been some space and it would have made our stay easier. And they didn't even offer it to me even if I tried... Then as a favor, they told me that since the baby was very small they wouldn't charge me the extra... I don't care about this at all. Because if I have to pay I pay, for that my idea was to hire a room for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby.... What bothered me was that the girl at the reception didn't even make the effort to manage the crib . In the end we managed to sleep with the baby in the double bed (which was 1.50m). Changing the subject, the breakfast is very good and is recommended, the staff in the breakfast area is very friendly and very attentive. I was surprised that they had strawberries, blueberries... Regarding the outdoor pool, it is small, but it is quite good, although they have many sun loungers, we didn't get any... we landed on the ground, but hey, to be a while isn't so bad either, it's artificial grass. If you go with children who do not know how to swim, a vest or similar is recommended. Regarding the SPA... they require a hat and flip flops... they give you the rest. They charge you €6 for the hat if you don't have it.... We bought 3 but they only used 1... because in the end my wife and my son didn't get to go... but they don't return the money. I accept them, but I hope other people don't make the same mistake. Some jets in the spa did not work, and for the rest it is a very average spa. Ideal to relax a little. Children can only go to the SPA at a specific time. Careful with that. Regarding the location, it can be said that it is very close to Magikland in case you plan to go.
