La Moiana 1756

Incredible. I'm calling on June 20th to rent accommodation in a farmhouse ("Rossello") for the mid-August period. After ten minutes Fabio Generali, the owner, sends me the booking confirmation email. I contacted them again on August 8th to ask for the check-in and check-out times and they confirmed everything again, informing me of the requested times. So far, so good. After a few hours however (it is Tuesday 8th August and the holiday would start the immediately following weekend) Fabio Generali himself calls me to cancel everything, since according to him there was an error in the booking management system and the same accommodation was given , subsequently to ours, via booking, to other people. He claims that the contract with booking must be honored and is more important. And the previous agreement with us? Now we find ourselves close to August 15th without any reservations despite having found where to spend the holiday two months before. I think calling them incapable and not serious is the least!

Abbiamo dormito alle capannace gestito sempre dalla stessa famiglia e mangiato alla Moiana con amici , Salumi eccellenti , buoni i primi , molto buono il vino , merita 5 stelle in relazione al prezzo pagato, titolari super gentili e disponibili a dare indicazioni turistiche

Good morning, we were at the La Moiana 1756 farmhouse in the last week of August, a location immersed in the landscape of the Val d'Orcia, a recently renovated structure. We were welcomed by Fabio and his family. They treated us as if we were at home. Abundant breakfasts and dinners with homemade pasta....a real delight. Try the Fiorentina made to order. I highly recommend it to all those who intend to visit the Val d'Orcia given the strategic position for visiting the other villages ( Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni) We thank Fabio, Kelly and their families for their hospitality. We will be back

Posto bellissimo! Siamo stati qui per 5 giorni e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Agriturismo meraviglioso immerso nel verde. I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili. L’appartamento è altrettanto bello, comodo e la cucina ha tutto il necessario. Ci siamo trovati talmente bene che ci ritorneremo sicuramente altre volte.

Ester et Fabio sont adorables ! Ils ont été durant tout notre séjour au petits soins pour nous. Le petit déjeuner servi chez eux est délicieux et est très local (melon frais, gâteaux et tartes aux fruits, jus d’orange frais, fromage de la région, charcuterie, …). Ils n’hésitent à donner les bonnes adresses en matière de restaurants, villages à visiter et autres endroits typiques. Nous sommes arrivés tard le soir suite à des soucis de voiture (pas de voiture ni de repas). Ester nous a gentiment dépannés avec des bons produits frais cultivés sur place. Nous avons aussi reçu une bouteille de vin de leurs vignes ainsi qu’une bouteille d’huile de leurs oliviers à notre arrivée. Accueil très chaleureux ! Ester et Fabio nous ont également aidés à communiquer en italien avec les services de dépannage locaux pour notre voiture et nous ont accompagnés à l’endroit où se trouvait notre voiture enfin réparée. Très belle et grande piscine avec vue sur la vallée et les montagnes/collines environnantes. Nous vous recommandons chaleureusement de séjourner à La Moiana 1756 tenue par une famille charmante !

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia alla fine di settembre e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Luogo, appartamento, accoglienza oltre ogli aspettativa. Abbiamo anche acquistato vino e olio di loro produzione e siamo stati veramente soddisfatti. Bravissimi Fabio e Kelly, ritorneremo sicuramente.

Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti. L'agriturismo, da poco restaurato, gode di una vista meravigliosa sulla vallata sottostante da cui si vede Montalcino. E' situato in una posizione tranquilla e silenziosa, da cui è facile raggiungere le principali attrazioni della val d'Orcia. Il nostro appartamento era composto da due camere entrambe con bagno privato e una cucina ben accessoriata. Ottima la pulizia e la cura nei dettagli dell'arredamento, che rispecchiano la passione che i giovani titolari mettono in questa attività. Vi è la possibilità di fare colazione e cenare all'aperto, godendo di un bellissimo panorama. Ottima la cucina con prodotti tipici (da provare la pasta con l'aglione e le torte a colazione). C'è anche la possibilità di avere prodotti per celiaci e di acquistare del vino prodotto da loro. Ringraziamo ancora Fabio; Kelly ed i loro familiari per la loro simpatia e ospitalità.
