Great location and extremely friendly staff! The room was clean and spacious. It’s close to all the major shops, restaurants, and bars. 10-15 minutes walk from the Cardiff Castle. It is close to the Cardiff University area and about twenty minutes walk to Mermaid Quay. Would stay again.

The hotel is in a very good location, right next to Cardiff Railway Station and the downtown commercial street. It is also very close to the castle, only a ten-minute walk away. The family room is quite large and the bathroom is not small. However, after staying for two days, no one cleaned up, the trash can was not emptied, and the service was average.

The room had no windows that could be opened and was very stuffy. There is only one fan. And the windows are all covered with privacy films. Can't see outside at all. It was supposed to be very beautiful outside. The stay was very depressing.

Terrible, no one ever on the ‘24 hour’ reception, you have to call a phone number for assistance. Room baking hot (we didn’t go during the heatwave) disgusting film on all the windows, none of the windows opened and no air conditioning, there was a fan that actually fell apart when we switched it on and did nothing but blow warm air around the room and the tv didn’t work which I guess is probably due to the fact that it had at some point fallen over as it had no base and was just propped up. The loo was very badly stained, the bathroom blind was stained and mouldy and the shower head wouldn’t stay up so you had to hold it it place in order to shower. The light refreshments that they advertise are from a vending machine by the reception desk. Not a good experience at all, in fact it’s the worst place I’ve ever stayed. I never write reviews but felt that this one needed it, wouldn’t recommend staying here at all.
