SureStay Hotel by Best Western Castlegar

Easy to find just off highway in Castlegar. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good breakfast although a little minimal

The room was clean and comfortable, except for the beds which were far too soft and springy making it difficult to sleep.

We stayed in the back of the hotel which was very quiet. The room was quite large, large enough to have had a king sized bed. We found the room a bit dark. Another brighter lamp on the writing desk would have been better. There is a cold breakfast of cereals, bread products, yoghurt, fruit, juice and coffee and a waffle maker. However , the waffle maker needed some Pam spray as everything stuck. A favourable addition to the breakfast bar would be some scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage in a warming tray.

Pros: -convenient location just outside of downtown Castlegar. -We stayed at the back side of the hotel and found it to be very quiet. -The bedding was comfortable and clean and we were given extra bedding when we got cold. - the free breakfast was very good! A daily spread from 6-9:30 of fruit, bagels, bread, muffins, juice, coffee, tea, individually packaged spreads, cereal, and DIY waffles with berries really surpassed my expectations. - the employees were friendly, professional, and prompt -black out curtains in the rooms Cons: -the doors and desk were in poor shape -the dual heater/AC unit wasn’t super efficient. Overall, I highly recommend SureStay as its clean and excellent value.

Hotel was close to all anemetites, easy access to the highway. It.had a continental breakfast. Free wifi for customers. Hotel was close to the course I was taking. From desk staff we're helpful and friendly.

Everything went fairly well. Huge room! Small bathroom. Not perfect but good. Great location and room rate. Get better coffee please. And demand that your guests DO NOT run through the halls screaming at 2330 at night when other guests have a 5am schedule the next morning for a hockey game!

Property clean and seemed newly renovated ... Staff polite and accommodating ... willnplanto stay there again ...

We stayed hear for a hockey tournament last weekend. There were others families from our team that also stayed here as well. Another team had very late parties in the hallway. The staff did nothing to stop it.
