We had the 2 best rooms overlooking the water front and the rooms have wonderful views. I would only be happy in these rooms. It is in a great location and the bedroom was very comfortable. The bathroom could do with some improvement and was small.

Near-zero English language capability. Bathrooms not cleaned thoroughly. No room make-up on Sundays. Upscale room I booked was excellent however. Staff very nice.

Alma Chilota was simply a fantastic property to stay at! Our room was large & beautiful, overlooking the water, and very well appointed - better than the online pictures. The small inn itself was full of local Chilean/Chiloe art and plants. I'd stay again and highly recommend it to anyone staying in Castro.

Rough looking from thr street, but very nicely decorated inside. Magnificient view from the bedroom. Recently renovated washroom. Unique stilt house overlooking the bay with the boats.
