I stay at the Lodge when I visit my mother in Tucson. It’s a perfect locations and the grounds are lovely. The dining room is very accommodating to my preferences and dietary restrictions. However, the rooms could be cleaner. They seem a bit tired. In my room the make up mirror did not work nor did the electrical sockets by the sink. I was unable to dry my hair so I got ready at my mother’s home. This was very inconvenient. They fixed the issue while I was at dinner and the front desk agreed to compensate me off of the bill for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, this did not happen. I works stay here again, but I do not feel I got the value from my room which was over 400. For the night.

Overall a nice, quiet stay. There's lots of space in the room including a loft! We stayed for our anniversary and the gave us a nice gift.

When we decided to return to Tucson, The Lodge at Ventana Canyon was our go-to choice based on our 5* experience two years ago. Everything was as exceptional as our previous stay. There is now a keurig coffee machine in the kitchen and 6 pods were provided. They were replenished upon our request during the housekeeping service. A reminder that the fridge is a small fridge so this needs to be kept in mind for quantity and size of grocery items purchased. The kitchen was equipped well enough for our breakfast and lunch needs. Bring a sponge. They do provide dish towels. Pools are fabulous. Main pool was a bit more crowded on the weekend, but we still had no problem finding lounge chairs and umbrellas. The lap pool was virtually empty and there is a wood awning at this pool which offers shade. Thank you again to Wayne Doyle for assisting us with our room assignment.

Had a great time, beautiful area. Pool was nice, staff very nice. Spa/massage was a little suspect. Not the best, wasn’t offered any other amenities besides the massage. Like the showers, sauna, etc.

We had 13 golfers stay at the resort for the first time. Everyone stated that they wanted to return next year. The golf and amenities were first rate.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in February so much that we came back in April. From Wayne in reservations to the front desk personnel to the food/beverage servers, everyone was welcoming, helpful and professional. Food and drinks were excellent. The outdoor dining area was relaxing. The only negative for this stay was the pace of play on the Mountain course. While the signage stated that pace of play was a priority, our 5 hour round proved otherwise.

The property is lovely, quiet and has great views. Really beautiful golf course as well. The rooms are huge and maybe a little outdated but come with large patios, kitchenette, table for four and sofa and chairs. Lots of room to stretch out and feel less confined. Although we did not partake, there are pickleball and tennis courts along with two pools too.
