Easy access to the city centre - 8 minutes on foot - and close to the rail and bus stations, so easy to travel outside Catania too. Area a bit sketchy a few roads to the north, so owrhaps worth avoiding there at night if on your own. All i all, a good stay@

For our first time in Catania, we reviewed many places and contacted Paola by email to make reservations. The prompt responses and answers to all our questions were appreciate. The charming family hotel lived up to our expectations. We loved the hotel location which is very well situated just around the corner from the Bellini Teatro, and is a 7 to 8 minute walk to the Piazza del Duomo and the main tourist attractions. Our room on the second floor was spacious for two with a comfortable queen size bed, high ceilings and a renovated spacious bathroom. The weather was fresh when we were there so did not need the a/c and enjoyed the partially open window. Breakfast is served in the lobby with excellent coffee to order and a more than adequate spread of sweet and savory dishes. In three days, we especially enjoyed the different baked focaccia that was served. Outside the hotel take a left up the road about 50 meters for a local bakery if you fancy a snack, or a mini mart for any essentials (water and beer). A few recommended restaurants are also with a few minutes walking distance that were great. We took a couple of day trips and were collected from outside the hotel and on departure we took a taxi to the bus terminal (it's close but did not want to deal with luggage) for our onward bus journey to Taormina. For a three star family run hotel we would return and recommend for the value in all aspects.

I stayed here 2 weeks for a business trip. This was a fantastic place to stay. The first thing worth mentioning is the STAFF! They are the best, friendly, helpful, hospitable people! This is a small hotel in a quaint part of town which makes it easy to walk around the city center. They have a parking option which is very difficult to get in Italy, so this is a big plus. The breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, cheeses, pastries etc. It seems to be family owned and they know how to make you feel at home. The rooms were clean and typical European rooms, meaning a little small. If you are looking for a Hilton or Sheratan "feel" then this might not be the place for you. Very personal stay. I am not sure what more I can say about this place but one of the best places overall I have stayed and I travel a lot for work.

Wonderful hotel. Small, comfortable, and well situated. Front desk staff was very welcoming and kind, happy to give recommendations. Breakfast was good, great variety especially for such a small hotel. Location is unbeatable, walking distance to everything, including the central train station. I would absolutely stay here again. Juliana was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. The location was close to the bus terminal and 10 minutes drive to airport. The breakfast was good. Over all the ambience was pretty intimate. It was pretty quiet, our room was towards the back. They were renovating some of the bathrooms during the day.

The hotel gets the job done with good location and pleasant service.

Centrally located, close to all many tourist attractions. Close to train stations and eating options. A beautifully maintained property, with friendly staff and a lovely breakfast included. Only negative, a little noisy with traffic below.
