In questa struttura abbiamo dormito due notti, però è un vero peccato avere una struttura simile e non valorizzarla: posizione ottima, breve passeggiata e sei in piazza Duomo, possibilità di parcheggiare l’auto nel cortile condominiale gratuitamente, palazzo storico (anche se decadente), camere grandissime con annessi sale da bagni complessivamente 40/50 mq, Peccato perché tutto rimasto fermo agli anni 60/70....materiali, suppellettili, un cumulo di oggetti di tutti i tipi messi lì casualmente, proprietari un po’ freddi e distaccati, pulizie così e cosi...

Lugar en condiciones lamentables, muy sucio, oscuro y con bichos de todo tipo (cucarachas, ratas...) corriendo entre tus pies. Las imágenes que aparecen en internet no tienen nada que ver con la cruda realidad. Amabilidad nula del dueño. Medidas higiénico-sanitarias por Covid, inexistentes. Decidimos no quedarnos hospedados por razones obvias y porque no era lo que habíamos contratado y el propietario nos cobró la primera noche. Destacar también que el patio interior donde se aparcan los coches no es seguro. Hablamos con Booking y no conseguimos el reembolso. Mi recomendación es no escoger este alojamiento y más teniendo en cuenta la variedad hotelera que tiene Catania.

Do not expect the usual b&b nor a 5-star hotel, this is something different. The rooms are located in a beautiful historical building close to the station and the city center. The exterior is unfortunately a little rundown, which is a real pity because the building is very beautiful. Honestly we didn't get a good impression when we first entered the courtyard (where we could park our car). Instead, the interior is really unique. The style is vintage in a good way. Common areas are full of paintings, panels and mementos and ceilings are decorated with frescos, all transmitting unique vibes. Rooms are spacious and clean. The owner is very kind, friendly and available. Definitely recommend.

I booked a room here for just one night due to an emergency. The host has been very kind snd accommodating: although the check in time was long passed he has been waiting for my snd my late arrival until almost midnight. The room was very nice and comfortable and l slept like a baby. In the morning a great shower and a coffee completed my experience at the Holland international. l highly recommend this place and l will definitely come bavk here whether l need a place to stay in Catania.

Hans e sua moglie sono estremamente cortesi, rispettosi e accoglienti. La struttura a primo impatto risulta inquietante, ma dopo poco si impara ad amare quello stile così insolito! La posizione è comodissima per la stazione ferroviaria, quella degli autobus, per la navetta per l'aereo, per tutto il centro storico. Il fiore all'occhiello è la pulizia del bagno ripetuta con grande cura ogni giorno. Il wifi e il condizionatore funzionano alla grande, la colazione non è prevista ma il caffè a capsule è molto buono, il letto è comodissimo, il costo molto basso (in pieno luglio soltanto 22€ a persona nella doppia per ogni notte) e quella gentile coppia ci ha offerto di trascorrere tutto il tempo di attesa dell'aereo (visto il caldo torrido) nel salottino dandoci anche la disponibilità del bagno, scambiando qualche chiacchiera.
