Due to arriving outside the scheduled check-in time, we had to stay in a nearby location, with similar conditions, the landlord kindly quickly provided us with this solution, very clean common areas, comfortable bed. Clean towels. Nice views of the sea. The only thing to improve perhaps is the cleanliness of the room (sheets and floor). Otherwise perfect.

Meno male che ci ho fatto solo una notte, tutto ebbe inizio da un cambio di struttura che forse non avrei dovuto accettare, chissà.Palazzo datato senza ascensore con portone centrale difettoso, bisognava passarci alcuni secondi/minuti prima di aprire il portone,camera poco confortevole, bagno mal deodorante causa problemi con lo scarico fognario di ritorno e impossibilità a farsi una doccia come si deve acqua dappertutto.

Presso il B&B Elephant's smile di Catania ho trovato cose assolutamente inaspettate...ad esempio... non è di tutti i giorni e nella normalità, se non sei in hotel, anche di un certo spessore, trovare pulizia, nettezza e sanificazione di tutti i luoghi comuni, per non parlare delle camere, davvero complimenti, quest'e' stare avanti...la pulizia prima di tutto, consentitemi un complimento speciale e un ringraziamento a chi se ne occupa, con lena e caparbietà...!!! Poi, la posizione a dir poco unica, vicino alla stazione con possibilità di far allenamento la mattina su una pedonale riservata tra ferrovia e mare, stupendo!, a pochi passi dal Duomo e quindi tutto il centro di Catania... ..e poi...lui... Matteo...host spettacolare per tutta la gestione dell'elephant's smile, empaticamente speciale, siamo addirittura arrivati alle confidenze, fiducia, sagacia, disponibilità su tutto,sempre e comunque, simpatico, intelligente, avanti intellettualmente....la finisco qui perché altrimenti diventerei prolisso e logorroico...ma la meriti tutta sta recensione caro Matteo...grazie di tutto e a presto...!!! Eccellente assolutamente

it was a terrible experience, we have travel all night and when we arrived at 9:40 AM, no one was pick up the cellphone and the reception didn’t answer. we was with a little baby and we left us outside till 13:00! we called them at 13:00 and they started yelling that whey ware inside the building! after that we told us that we will get inside at 15:00 when the owner will come ate the apartment! whey ware very rude and arrogant, after we have send the screenshots all the call te the owner and no response from them. we have stay 5 day with only one pair of towel. we pay the breakfast and was never served. in the end they send us a sms why we left the apartment in disorder. we have pay the fee of cleaning! the house has to much noise, old building and very dirty. i don’t recommend to any other person.

We were greeted by Matteo who accommodated our stay. The bed was fantastic but the floor was clearly not mopped for quite sometime and was dirty. The room was large and inviting with a balcony window and a medium size bathroom. The room, however, was designed for tall people as the closet Rod and shower head could not be easily reached. The kitchen was conveniently located steps away from our room and was open all day with all amenities for a great breakfast.

The B&B is located in a beautiful old building with high ceilings and balconies. The hosts are lovely; kind and helpful! They helped is out when we were in a difficult situation. We had booked another B&B in the same building but when arriving in the evening they couldnt accomodate us. The hosts of Elephant smile came to our ”rescue” and arranged for us to stay at their B&B. We are so grateful for that, and the fact that the B&B turned out to be such a lovely place made it even better. The price is also very reasonable. If you stay in Catania we really recommend this place!
