The bed was caving in. The toilet keeps running. The shower keeps dripping the entire night. To turn the hot water off, you need to be a body builder. Fix the faucet. The TV worked for 3 hours and didn't work again for the rest of our stay. Please ask customers if they want a maid to come in as to not be intrusive of space. There are customers who prefer no interruptions to their stay! I am not being difficult, but these are simple quality of life improvements which must be rectified. Also, where we stayed we were not informed that we were not getting a veranda. The empty units next to us all had verandas. Please inform your customers of these little changes to their units as these make a big difference at the end of the day!

We stayed at Dragon Peaks many years ago and enjoyed the stay, sadly this time around it was a different story. We booked a campsite close to the play area and ablutions. When we arrived, we were informed that the ablutions geyser burst and that we had to use the ablution block furthermost from our camp, when we inquired about the other block closer to us, they said that the geysers are switch off during low seasons. The drain at our campsite was blocked with fat and covered in flies, we reported it but it was never cleaned, my husband eventually got it open with a stick. Staff on the property was very loud, shouting at each other at 6am in the morning and branches were cut up by chain saw on Sunday morning before 7am, other places in the camp the maintenance men were busy installing roof plates making a hell of a racket. The lawns were mowed beautifully and the bathrooms were clean, but everything else seems to be lacking attention. No lights or hot water during load shedding. ****s are hip high in the gardens, the pool pump was uncovered next to the pool, a hosepipe with a trickle of water was used on the slide, not enough to slide with. Dogs were around and in the pool, although the signs said no dogs around the pool. The birds in the aviary seem to be stressed and the aviary not well maintained, used as a garden tool shed. The walking paths were being cut open while we were there, but most impassable with chest high grass and ****s. At R350 per person per night, for the 7 of us, was a very expensive weekend for sub standard service and a lacks attitude. We will certainly never return.

Dragon Peaks Resort promised a newly renovated cabin, but my experience fell short. The cabin I received had peeling linoleum, damaged furnishings, and old linen. Despite requesting a free upgrade due to the unmet promises, it was refused. I decided to check out early as the accommodation didn't meet my expectations. On a positive note, some staff members were very polite and helpful, and the views were beautiful. However, based on my experience, I won't be staying here again.

We have been coming to Dragons as a family for more than 18 years and despite the Crazy berg weather, our Family holiday was a great success. The property has continued to maintain its high level of service and facilities and as always the staff were ever willing to help in every possible way.

We spent three nights at Dragon Peak Mountain Resort which is in a breathtaking location. If you are looking to unwind and use this as a base for beautiful hikes and the numerous other activities on offer at the Berg then this is the ideal location.

I've been here numerous times, even flown in once which was fun. The general area has lots to do from bird viewing to bird shows, hiking, cycling, golf, wonderful artisinal shops, the best zipline I've used and more. Dragon Peaks itself has spectacular views of Cathkin Peak, Sterkhorn and Champagne Castle. We had both chalet and camping accommodation on this trip. The camping ablutions are the only let down in peak season with little hot water.

No power, no water, after the power back the water can't drink, no WiFi in the house, when it’s raining, the whole house roof was leaked, like fall. Will never come back again. The outside is very good. Very nice Mountain View, has pool, restaurant
