Hotel Splendid Mare

Buon Soggiorno per capodanno, abbiamo trascorso con amici e parenti l ultimo dell anno a Cattolica, alla struttura convenzionata dell hotel spendid, ambiente familiare, cucina tradizionale, con animazione per i bambini a due passi dal centro dove abbiamo visto i fuochi d artificio dalla struttura dopo il gran cenone di fine anno, ottima vacanza

Struttura a 20 mt dal mare con enormi potenzialità per collocazione, interni, piscina (se fosse stata pulita) e ambiente. Disastrosa la cucina paragonabile ad una mensa aziendale, code interminabili per un buffet, quasi sempre vuoto e con le stesse cose. Buffet dolci inesistente, due dolci al massimo messi last minute, persino budini non ancora solidificati, accompagnati da cucchiaini buttati a caso in un piatto di fortuna. Show cooking e buffet tanto decantati sul sito, come pane, brioche bio ... inesistenti, meglio non dire e dare, ma il contrario è inaccettabile. Tovaglie non pulite e non sporcate dagli occupanti, talvolta al proprio tavolo altre persone, brocche a self service mancanti o sporche, tovaglioli di carta, in un 4 stelle, non è possibile. Cosa non mancava mai nel menù alucce di pollo surgelate, crocchette di patate surgelate con le faccine. Dietro il bancone a servire i piatti caldi, spesso personale jolly, ma soprattutto spesso senza grembiule, come capitava. Tra i tavoli quasi nessuno. Stanze pulite, potenzialmente carine, ma con mille particolari non funzionanti, cassaforte che funzionava random, nessun appendino, televisore appeso storto, acqua per la doccia quasi sempre fredda. In Romagna, nota per l'accoglienza e la buona cucina, neanche un 2 stelle propone tale cucina e servizi. Anzi i ricordi che ho dei 2 stelli, strutture semplice, ma accoglienti e con un'ottima cucina. La scelta di questa struttura è stata dettata dalla posizione e dall'animazione avendo un ragazzino. E per una volta per un 4 stelle ho fatto l'errore di non leggere le recensioni prima. Animatori carini e volenterosi. Servizio bici gratuito, come previsto, ma con poche bici e fatiscenti ... Ribadisco che è un peccato perchè la struttura di per sè potrebbe essere un gioiellino. I disservizi li ho fatti presenti sin dall'inizio, mi è stato fatto uno sconto, che apprezzo, ma avrei apprezzato di più avere quanto atteso, cibo di qualità e acqua calda, non sono un optional.

Ho soggiornato con la mia famiglia presso l'hotel Splendid per due settimane nel mese di agosto L'hotel ha una struttura decadente, l'esterno della facciata tutto rovinato e non c'è neanche un'insegna con l'indicazione dell'albergo. Siamo stati sistemati in una camera confortevole vista mare, spaziosa e con materassi comodi, purtroppo però abbiamo avuto l'acqua della doccia fredda per tutto il soggiorno. Inoltre il faretto di fronte all'armadio in corridoio non funzionante nemmeno dopo la ns segnalazione è stato riparato. La nota dolente riguarda però il ristorante. Mal gestito, un unico buffet per antipasti, primi e secondi con file chilometriche. Antipasti ripetuti identici x 14 gg, e consistevano sempre in melanzane e peperoni grigliati e gratinati, insalata e pomodori. Fagioli e tonno. Il cesto del pane era quasi sempre vuoto, andava continuamente sollecitato al personale. Primi appena sufficienti, porzioni sc****. Secondi con pesce surgelato e carne anche questi ripetitivi. I contorni dei secondi a rotazione tra broccoletti, fagiolini e spinaci sempre freddi. A pranzo solo frutta, visto il gelato solo una volta. E anche la frutta presa d'assalto. La sera dolci confezionati e spesso ancora ghiacciati. Mancavano poi sempre brocche dell'acqua,quelle disponibili erano tutte sbeccate. Poca pulizia e igiene in tavola, mentre la pulizia delle camere è stata soddisfacente. La piscina da contratto riscaldata era sempre fredda e per diversi giorni l'acqua é stata torbida. La palestra non esiste. Buona l'animazione. La spiaggia invece ottima fronte all'hotel con lettini ben distanziati Un grazie ai camerieri Marco e Francesco per la disponibilità Mi spiace hotel Splendid, ma non torneremo . Un 4 stelle che ne vale a mala pena 2!

Da diversi anni scelgo l'Hotel Splendid per la mia vacanza. Gentilezza, simpatia, disponibilità sono caratteristiche che trovi in tutto lo splendido staff. La location è strategicamente perfetta, comodissima sia per la spiaggia che per belle passeggiate serali. Possibilità di usufruire della piscina per relax per i più grandi e divertimento per i più piccoli grazie ai nuovi scivoli. Servizio di animazione coinvolgente ma non oppressivo. Le stanze sono sempre pulite e si gode di molta flessibilità di orari. L'unico rischio è quello di tornare dalle vacanze con qualche kilo di troppo visto la bontà e la vastità di scelta del ristorante. Ottimo sia per famiglie con bambini che per coppie.

Good morning we were very satisfied with the service of this splendid hotel from the waitresses to the cleaning services, all kind. I highly recommend it, thank you for this stay, my children were happy!

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana piacevole. Ottima la posizione, l'accesso alla spiaggia e la Piscina .Tutti bravi, due nomi si tutti: Gerry e Andrea. Speriamo di poter tornare l'anno prossimo. Fabio

This is my personal opinion after a week's holiday with family and children: Hotel with a decadent structure. It is not a family hotel as you would expect from the website and quote, but a 90s hotel with a slide and a plastic castle instead of a gym. Pros: A stone's throw from the beach. Animation. Cozy room by the pool. Goodwill of the dining room staff. Cons: it does not have all the services of a 4 star. (luggage service? Gym? Bathrobes?) Pool area bar not functioning, with cracked windows and used as a storage room for broken exercise equipment. Cold pool, not heated. Buffet restaurant with food in my opinion of mediocre quality for a 4 star in Emilia-Romagna. More like a company canteen. Little variety of foods for children. Dessert at the end of the meal only if you arrive very early and rush to the table where it is served. Tablecloth remained dirty for almost the entire duration of the stay (changed only once). Water jugs impossible to find if you don't arrive as soon as the restaurant opens and more often than not you find them dirty or it wasn't clear if they had been cleaned. Children's play area near the restaurant in disarray and apparently not very clean. Cold shower in the evening from 7pm onwards, 6 days a week. Playground on the 2nd floor organized inside the old UNmanned gym area and with open windows near the structure where the children jump and climb (the parapet is at about 1 meter from the floor, but under the window there was a mattress), in my opinion quite dangerous. Ground floor entrance area used for clearing, with also a broken and half-disassembled go-kart covered by a pink sheet. Access to the seafront avenue not possible from the hotel gate because it is closed but possible by passing in front of the disused Carlo's restaurant. Carlo's restaurant used as a tool shed and with the wooden patio half destroyed with the floorboards rising. The patio is unfortunately accessible to children who risk getting hurt (the area is poorly cordoned off). The all-inclusive soft drink formula seems like half a thing to me because there is no control over the water and soft drink dispensing machines, so much so that anyone can use them. Potentially even outside the structure. However, coffees are not included, you have to pay for them. I saw no control over who enters and exits the facility. It seems that anyone can enter both from the street side and from the seafront side even at night through the disused Carlo's restaurant and access the external part of the rooms overlooking the swimming pool, where strollers, games and costumes are usually placed. Note: Our room at pool level was properly soundproofed but the entrance door (already forced several times given the notable marks of screwdrivers or other tools on the external frame) blocked on the second day, locking us in and forcing us to call the

My husband, I and our 4 year old daughter stayed in this property for New Year's Eve. We had a very good time especially thanks to the staff... kind, attentive and helpful room staff. Another highlight is the entertainment for children. Engaging activities for all ages. A special thank you goes to Giulia, very sweet and careful with our little girl. Thank you with all my heart.
