"I had an incredible experience at Mirador Los Volcanes Lodge Boutique! The views were absolutely unbeatable, providing a breathtaking backdrop for my stay. The cabins were not only comfortable but also spacious, equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. My 4-year-old daughter absolutely loved the outdoor spaces, especially the tree house, the pool, and playing with the sheep. She also had a fantastic time at the playground and with Waffles, the property cat, which made her stay even more special. Cristian, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. His hospitality truly made a difference and added a personal touch to our visit. I can confidently say that this will be my favorite place to stay whenever I visit Pucon. Highly recommended!"

"This property exudes charm. The setting, perched on the lake, is amazing. Though built in the 50s, it has been well preserved. The staff was friendly, especially Camilla, who seemed to run the place. Genuine friendliness, excellent food/wine in the dining room, both dinner and breakfast. The grounds and gardens are worth walking. We especially enjoyed reading by the large fireplace one rainy afternoon sipping Pisco Sours. This spot is a special place in Pucon, worth of Queen Elizabeth and several celebrities who have visited over the years."

"I stayed at Hotel Newen for 5 nights. My room, on the third floor, which had a spectacular view of the Villarica volcano was very comfortable with attached bathroom and toilet. The breakfast was superb - home made bread, jam, fruit, scrambled eggs and coffee. A great start to busy days. The staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Thank you, Coni, for the advise about visiting the hot springs Botanico and help booking a half day there. Pucon is a great place to visit - the lake, views of the volcano, excellent places to eat and shop. Hotel Newen is the ideal base to experience Pucon and surrounds."

Hotel Diego de Almagro Temuco Express

"I stayed at the Diego de Almagro Express Hotel in Temuco, and it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. It's advertised as a 4-star hotel with a restaurant and parking, but upon arrival, there were no parking spaces left, and no solutions were offered. The room left a lot to be desired: the sink was clogged, the hairdryer didn't work, and the shower water was barely warm. When I tried to dine in the restaurant, they only offered a single menu for $27, which also had poor reviews from other guests. The worst of all was breakfast. The restaurant was completely overwhelmed, with only two people serving and cleaning. There was no coffee or hot milk, cutlery and plates were missing, and guests had to clear their own tables to be able to sit down. People were eating standing up, trying to salvage what little was left. The hygiene of the place was deplorable. Definitely a horrible experience. I do not recommend it at all."
